Great hotel...mini apartment/condo feel.Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Multiple rooms (kitchen, bath, sitting area, bedroom). Kids loved the pool.
Cons: Bell hop carts. There were NONE at check in. Also, the pools were very, very overcrowded (I guess that can't really be helped).
Location: It's a vacation town-lots to do but also a big money pit.
The night staff were very welcoming and courteous! The morning staff were as well, but the two ladies on evening front desk had a very spunky and happy attitude. The indoor pool slides were cool-the kids loved them. We were celebrating my son's 7th birthday.

Overpriced for the condition and location.Posted Dec 30, 2013
Pros: Ease of checking in.
Cons: Many things could be improved. Updating of carpet and furniture. Cleanliness as well as staff needs to clean room and provide linens.
Location: Nothing to do near by, most attractions are in Pigeon Forge, about 5 miles away.
The hotel is well overpriced. Needs to be updated. A patched up hole in the bathtub. Dirty filters in the shower tub.

Better than most in the area...still not 3 starPosted Dec 30, 2013
This hotel works for a short stay in the area. We have been there twice but I am always amazed by the three star rating. This is two star hotel at best.

Convenient locationPosted Dec 23, 2013
Pros: Location, spacious room.
Location: The resort is on the same road as the Vanity Fair outlet and several other shops and restaurants.
Our stay at the Governor's Crossing Resort was very enjoyable. The room was spacious and had a full size refrigerator. I thought the room was very clean and the public areas also seem to be well kept. The staff was friendly and ready to help. The location is very convenient, yet off the main parkway enough to be in a quiet area for a good night's sleep

Would definitely stay here againPosted Dec 17, 2013
Pros: The cleanliness of the room and location.
Cons: Pools could be cleaner. Would like a larger indoor pool
Location: We really enjoyed the Christmas Show at the Smoky Mountain Opry. Would highly recommend. Also breakfast at Flapjacks was great.
Room was very clean which is very very important to me. The mattress and bed linens looked brand new and the room was large. Kitchen was a great bonus for us with an infant. Indoor pool area in my opinon was just okay. My daughter enjoyed it, but the waterpark was little more than a tiny pool filled with lots of older kids playing basketball in hte pool. The kiddie pool area was not bad. We thought the location was good and everyone that we encourntered was very friendly. Overall, we would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

Collier Drive is the road to where you need to goPosted Dec 17, 2013
The condo was extremely convenient to various places including Dollywood and other attractions. Collier Drive, which is where the condo is located, connects the Parkway to Veterans Drive and allows you to by-pass some of the Parkway traffic. It is also close to places to eat and Walmart if you need a pharmacy or forgot something. It is also close to an Urgent care center in the unfortunate event you need one. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The indoor pool was not super fancy but was a good place for a kid to burn off some energy on a cold rainy December morning.
