Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort & Spa

One of the nicest properties in the area and great for the kids. We booked a standard room which was small with only a full size bed and on the bottom level. The room was fine, but the A/C was very loud. They have a water park on site which was great for the kids, but is not run by the hotel. So when we showed up with our room key only, we were told they only take cash or credit card. The grounds of the resort are very nice making you feel like you are in the park. They even dress like park rangers. The check in process was quite complex and the new check in person struggled to get this done.

Check in took over an hour. Last day of our stay we were pressured to buy a time share, even though we booked thru Expedia and not their time share discount program. Don't go if you aren't want to purchase. Once we refused the service was much different than before.

It's a recreational resort type hotel with a large indoor water park, two outdoor swimming pools hiking trails biking trails and nearby white water rafting. Highly recommended for a family with kids

Great location and facility. Ideal for families with children with scheduled activities, multiple pools and indoor water park. Can envision a great family reunion here. Easy access to G'burg, Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mtns. Staffed abundantly. Noisy in the morning hours outside with staff apparently each having a gas powered golf cart to run errands but did not affect sleep, just active and noisy for a morning walk. I would return.

Getting there at or around 4 pm for check in was key-no line! Everything was wonderful-only problem was the noise from units next to us, however politely asking them to quiet down solved the issue. Beautiful resort, friendly an helpful staff. We loved the convenience of the shuttle service to town and the close proximity to the Smoky Mnt National Forest. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

It was a lovely apartment. The room was perfect for the four of us. My best friend and 2 daughters went and the kids activities are GREAT!!!!!!!

Some of the negative comments had me worried. I decided to take a chance, and I am glad I did! fast, informative check-in, clean, awesome staff! I will recommend this resort to friends and family, and I will definitely stay there again!

we asked the lady at the front desk, if they have a breakfast buffet. She didn't know. We had to return something at the market store. First they didn't want to do that. He was very rude. Breakfast at 8am, too late with 2 little kids. Will never come back!!!!

The rooms were dated and the gym equipment requires maintenance. Best part of the stay was the upper pool.

Looking forward to my next visit! I had a great time! The staff was friendly and very helpful. I haven't stop talking about the wonderful time I had.
