Low quality hotel which charged for everything

The rooms looked nice from the pictures but when we got there the couches were pleather, the mattress was terrible & the hot water ran out every time we tried to fill up the jacuzzi tub before the water got to the jets.

There was a nice place to stay, but the studio room very little privacy and there a washer dryer right out side your door. Neighbors washed laundry late into the night and morning. The location is great your close to gatlinburg but not right on the strip.

Pros: location, small food store, restaurant
Cons: If people arent interested in buy in to the property, leave them alone. Restaurant was ok nothing fancy. It was convenient having it on the property.
Location: Great Smoky Mountains National Park
I enjoyed the location the most. The room was very big and spacious. I didnt like that I had to hear a small sales pitch before I even could get to my room. I thought I was just renting a room not getting a sales talk. They offered a free breakfast if you listened to them for 90min and toured the property. We didnt do that because we had other things to do with our time. If I had known via Expedia this would have been a time-share type buy in place I wouldnt have stayed here. That being said, there was a car show that weekend and everything was booked everywhere else and this was one of the only places still available.

Beautiful Resort right in the Mountains......

Pros: Wonderful location, beautiful villas, courteous staff.
Cons: More parking, less pressure about the timeshare tour.
Location: Gatlinburg is very close and has tons to do. Many restaurants, shops, sightseeing tours and the best aquarium I have ever seen! A must do!!
We had never been to the mountains so this was a brand new experience for my husband and I. Overall our experience was excellent. From the resort staff to the location everything exceeded our expectations. The bell staff member (Mike) who took us up to our villa was exceptional. The only disappointing thing was that this was a timeshare. We told them originally that we already owned one and were not interested, but they promised some great gifts if we just did the 90 minute tour. We agreed (and they DID give us everything they promised!) and did the tour. However, the 90 minute tour turned out to be a 4 hour tour! Our salesperson (Jonathan Smith) was awesome and did make it fun but we had no idea it would waste our entire first full morning there. If we had to do it again we would pay the deposit fee and avoid the tour. My suggestion, unless you have NO intentions on purchasing a timeshare, just give them the $20.00 deposit and call it a day! It was worth the $20.00 to have those 4 hours of my life back to go and see the sights we didn't get to see. I would recommend this resort HIGHLY! Our room was amazing (1 bedroom villa) and the property was spectacular. To the resort staff... when someone tells you they already own a time share, give them a break and let them enjoy their vacation without the high pressure of the tour. Thank you for everything! A wonderful vacation with many, many wonderful memories

All the units are up the hill from where you check in. You can't park your car under the canopy for loading or unloading while checking in. There weren't enough trained servers. I saw several instances where the waitstaff would hold drinks or glasses of drinks against their body in order to carry them to the tables. The servers were not washing their hands after collecting dirty or used utensils or after handling payments before taking other customers their food. Buffet was nice if you like fried greasy food. There weren't any appealing vegetarian or low dat options other than raisin bran or frui in the morning for breakfast. There wasn't enough hot water in the room or in the dining room restroom. There were gouges/ repaired rips in the wall paper. The TV's were flatscreen but the picture wasn't high def. the bed however was awesome and the staff were nice. This was a nice place to sleep but not a good place to eat or relax. The waterpark was well tended and great for our 5 yr old.

There was definitely a catch to it all. This was a timeshare group, the room they stick you in for the price is SMALL! I could've gotten something for the price of the room, and the "resort fee" that would've had a lot more room and comfort and probably closer to town. They never mention the fact that it's a timeshare and try to entice you with LOTS of offers to get you to go to their sales meetings, that you have to make a $20 deposit for in order to go. They put us in the biggest closest building to the bottom of the hill and it was not worth the money at all. The bathroom was decent size and fine but you literally couldn't even close the door without scraping the desk side that was set next to the door frame. There was a tiny foyer to get to the room for which our door was behind the main door and manuvering yourself, let alone a luggage cart was hard. The bed was a double when we paid for a queen, and the sheets came off the mattress every night when we slept on them. The staff was fine, it was clean, but it's not worth the money or time.

Great views of the smokies. Good clean room. Shuttles to trolley stop were very convenient. Curteous staff.

You will pay more than advertised!

Pros: Staff was friendly and since there are no ice machines available one of them did get us some ice for a required MS shot.
Be aware, the price quoted by Expedia is not the final price. The resort? which is actually a time share scheme will be adding a $50.00 resort fee and charges an additional $11.00 per day wifi fee. The room we were given was very small (studio) and certainly not worth the price of $359.02 plus $22.41 for a total of $381.43! I could have rented a fully equipped 2 bedroom cabin for approx. $40.00 more. It was equipped with a hot tub and pool table. Westgate also tries to pressure you into viewing a 90 minute sales pitch on purchasing time at the resort. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth for both Westgate and Expedia.

very clean, everyone was polite. They waved in passing, and spoke.. this will be the only place we stay when visiting the smokeys. We come at least once a year!

Location: downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville.
great weekend get away for me and my husband. room faced the woods with a balcony, private. rooms spacious with a kitchenette and Jacuzzi tub. excellent stay. will come again.
