Great place

Posted Aug 27, 2014
This was a great room for the rate. We were only there for the night, the room is set up for longer stays. Check-in was a bit of a production for a 1 night stay as this is a spread out resort. And there were a lot of stairs to get to our room, but the deck off the bedroom had a great view. The staff is very helpful, always making sure every question had been answered. Would definitely stay here again if traveling in this area.

Beautiful resort!!!

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Everything! Great food in the restaurant, clean, and very comfortable.
Cons: Include the waterpark in the price.
Location: It is about 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg.
The room was clean, and everything seemed new. The rooms have huge balconies, jetted tubs, and fireplaces. The waterpark is very nice as well. The only problem we encountered was that the waterpark is not included in the room price.

Pros: Can't think of anything! Maybe location.
Cons: Sound proofing!
Location: Location is great.
Checking in and finding the lobby confusing. Rooms were small and you can hear someone flush a toilet 4 rooms away in any direction. Plus they added $22.00 to my bill because they said Expedia didn't charge me the right price.

A great home away from home

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Our visit was great, our room was clean, plenty of supplies, quiet, modern great facilities for children. Only down side to the room was a bit of minor damage to a wall near the tv in the main room. Also the 1 hot tub was not working at the main pool however there was a second hot tub but it didn't have enough water in it to be relaxing.

Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience with us and others here on Expedia. Reviews such as yours, provide other travelers with information which is useful when planning their own vacations. We are sorry to hear that there was damage on one of the walls in your unit and for the issues with the hot tubs. Your comments will be shared with our maintenance team for further review. While the hot tubs were in need of attention, we do however hope you were able to enjoy Wild Bear Falls, our indoor water park. We thank you again for your feedback, as all feedback received is used as blueprints when improving our service and facilities. Hope to see you again soon! Sincerely, Anja

Nice Place to stay

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Very beautiful housing units on a mountain.
Cons: Need more swimming pools for the hundreds of units on the property.
Location: 2 miles from Gatlingburg and 4 miles from Pigeon Forge.
This is primarily a time share village. Open rooms are then available for travelers (guests). The rooms are very nice ... pine wood motif. There is a full kitchen, access to laundry facilities (free), WiFi and nice TV's. No room cleaning is provided but there are cleaning supplies in a closet. They will provide extra towels, soap, shampoo with a simple call. There is a $12/day charge for the facilities which gives you parking, 2 outdoor pools (not too large but nice grounds), some activities. Nice restaurant, kids game room and a large indoor water park (not included). There are outdoor grills by every housing unit.

Best place I've ever stayed at!

Got the room for pretty cheap. It had excellent customer service. Anytime you needed anything you could just pick up the phone. The full kitchen was really nice. It was kinda in the middle of pigeon forge and gatlinburg so it wasn't far either.

Water park not included and front desk not helpful

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness. The outside pool had lots of towels for guests.
Cons: WATERPARK SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE ROOM.
Location: We went to Dollywood and Splash Country.
The grounds were very well kept and the area very nice. The hotel itself was fine but definitely not luxurious. It was older and needed some refurbishing in the rooms. The website show this beautiful water park and that is the MAIN reason that I booked this hotel through Expedia. It was my husband and I and 4 children. The waterpark is almost twenty dollars extra per person per day. I wasn't going to pay that and pay to go to Dollywood. When we arrived I asked if I could pay and upgrade to a larger room. The front desk clerk told me that should be no problem because the hotel was not full. He acted like he was having trouble checking the status and asked me to come back in the morning. I came back three times the next morning and the staff kept telling me to try back later and they weren't sure if any 2 or 3 bedrooms were available. Eventually I gave up and kept my room. The room was fine. Not luxurious or a resort feeling but met our basic needs. It was very clean. They had tons and tons of towels at the outside pool and that was very nice after spending a day at Dollywood.
