Excellent resort to stay @ in the Smokey's

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Modern rooms and hotel staff are really accomodating and helpful.
Cons: Parking. Not that you really need to drive much anywhere but, if you arrive late or come back to the resort late expect to walk.
Food, excellent, water park clean. The Room was modern and clean. Grounds are well kept.

Nice Resort

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: Close to attractions, but yet out of the hustle & bustle.
Cons: The room was too small.
Nice resort, but room too small, no balcony. Pool area clean, grounds clean, nice having a 24 hr store on site.

Water Park Needs Work

Posted May 21, 2015
Water park is getting a little run down, many things not working. Still fun for the kids but could use some work. A little crowded with people taking time share tours.

Not restful and peaceful.

Posted May 20, 2015
Pros: Very pretty log cabin look, nestled in the trees in a mountain setting.
Cons: Better construction ( insulation ) of units. Drop the fee for the water park or at least greatly reduce price.
Location: Good location for various interests
They "stuck" us in a unit at the very top the mountain where a lot of construction is taking place. It was very noisy. Huge trucks all day long. Impossible to enjoy a cup of coffee on our outside balcony, Walls must be lined with tissue paper. we were in a lock-out unit and without even trying, I could hear every word spoken by the family occupying the adjoining unit + they were quite noisy as well. They might not have realized how much we could hear. Then a family with a small child above us did nothing but run from one end to the other until well after midnight. We understand mgt only has so much control over these things, but my point is the poor construction and virtually no insulation between units. .

Westgate Gatlinburg

Posted May 20, 2015
Pros: Nice Location - kitchenette was nice
Cons: Before taking us to our room, pitch for timesharing - only had 4 days and interested only in vacationing.
Location: Central location for Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Smoky Mountain park activities. Able to do something each day and then go to pool late afternoon.
Nice place and stay. Would have been nice to have been given a room with a view. Room was in lower level facing parking lot

Beautiful views and rooms but no parking spaces

Posted May 19, 2015
Parking is terrible. 2 to 4 spaces per 12 rooms. You may park a mile away and have to walk or take a bus tram. Just don't be in a hurry to come and go.

Nice hotel not so mice staff

Posted May 10, 2015
Hotel was nice, rooms were clean. Hotel staff not so nice. Bad check in experience. The water park was free for guests but we were asked to pay the 18 dollars fee to use it. Rude parking lot staff.

Over all we enjoyed our stay! Some of the food needs some improvement, like the burgers. Loved the ribs! We enjoyed our self.
