“Lovely Break”

The entrance to the hotel is a little misleading...it is such a pleasant surprise to see the rooms, and the setting is quite lovely. We had a ground floor room with a balcony over the river. Next time I think the same with a fireplace would be excellent. This hotel is not in the middle of the 'strip'. I liked being a little further from the 'maddening crowd', but it is a consideration for some people.

When you first pull up in the parking lot, it looks like an old motel. I was thinking oh no...this doesn't look good. When we drove around the building we saw the beautiful view of the creek. When we got in the room, I was very pleased. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the indoor pool and exercise room were nice. We called down for help with the fireplace and instead of talking us through it on the phone, the gentleman came right up to our room and fixed it. The hotel is a short walk from everything downtown in Gatlinburg and just far enough out of the crowds. I would definitely go back and would recommend to a friend.

“Great Place to Stay”

This is a fantastic motel. This is the third time that I have stayed here and will do so again. The rooms are very clean and very nicely decorated. The balcony over the river is just wonderful. The location is wonderful. You can leave your car parked and walk to everything in Gatlinburg and not have to worry about fighting the traffic.

We would definitely return for a stay at Zoder's. The staff were very friendly. The location was perfect for walking to all the shops. Because Zoders' has the mountain stream running beside it, the traffic noise is blocked. We opened our window at night, shut off the air, and slept by the sound of the water.

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was very helpful and very friendly. It was a very nice continental breakfast area complete with biscuits and gravy and the ladies serving breakfast were very cheery and pleasant. The pool area was beautiful and clean, indoors and out. It was a very short walk to the main downtown strip in Gatlinburg and very convenient. Very private and quiet and watching the river from the balcony was very peaceful and beautiful. We have no complaints about this hotel and would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

I was a little skeptical at first about staying here, but I decided to do so based onthe good reviews I read. I'm glad I did. It was a whole lot better then I thought it would be. From the perfect location in town for what I wanted to do, to the brook running outside the balcony, it was a great stay. Also a plus was the continental breakfast in the morning, to the wine and cheese snacks in the evening, to the cookies and milk at night, it was just enough to satisfy your appetite. The front staff was friendly and accomodating, eager to please any requests you might have. Getting around was easy, you could walk or take the trolley. I would definitely stay here again.

“Will not hesitate to go back”

We had been to Zoder's several years ago and tried it again. We were pleased both times and they have improved. The continental breakfast was better than average, the room and grounds well maintained and the indoor pool was warm and relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was evident they intended to make the stay pleasant for their guests. We have no complaints and have no desire to stay elsewhere in Gatlinburg.
