Very nice accommodation!

Pros: Overlooking the river and comfortable beds!
Cons: Outdated decor.
Location: Perfect location on the edge of downtown - close to everything, but quieter.
While the decor is pretty outdated, the hotel and rooms are very comfortable. The location is great, being on the quieter end of Gatlinburg but within walking distance of all attractions. The rooms face a river and the grounds have two very nice pools, bbq area, and snack bar. We were very happy staying here.

Great hotel - would recommend

Pros: Creek side view......beautiful
Cons: Drink machines were empty
Location: Perfect walking distance and not in the middle of all the traffic of downtown
When you first pull up in the parking lot, it looks like an old motel. I was thinking oh no...this doesn't look good. When we drove around the building we saw the beautiful view of the creek. When we got in the room, I was very pleased. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the indoor pool and exercise room were nice. We called down for help with the fireplace and instead of talking us through it on the phone, the gentleman came right up to our room and fixed it. The hotel is a short walk from everything downtown in Gatlinburg and just far enough out of the crowds. I would definitely go back and would recommend to a friend.

Pros: Location, location, location
Zoder's Inn is a great location. Easily walkable to downtown Gaitlinburg but far enough away to be quiet. We had a room with a king bed and a jacuzzi with a gas fireplace. My wife curled up on the couch and enjoyed the fireplace. Overall, it was a very enjoyable week.

Pros: Cookies and milk at bedtime and balcony on creek
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Perfect location, nestled in the woods but still walking distance to EVERYTHING
They offer milk and cookies before bedtime a homey touch. The bed was sooooo comfey. Almost every single room has a balcony over the creek complete with balcony furniture. The cleaning staff kept our room super clean. The pool was nice and warm so awesome for a November stay. The continental breakfast could've had some warmer options. The furniture in the room was a little dated but fully functional. I have a family member with a time share where I could stay at a different facility for free... But I'll be paying for zoders again!!

Great location but .....

Pros: location
Cons: cleanliness
We loved the location with rushing creek running virutally right outside of many of the rooms. On the downside, our room was dated and not very clean. We had a dead insect in the bathroom that greeted us upon our arrival and leaves that had blown into the room. The overall facility was nice and generally cared for but dated in many respects and in need of some upgrades. Access into the hotel thru the main entrance both coming and going can also be a bit of a challenge when there is a lot of traffic. There is an option for parking up above the main hotel entry if you access from the cross street behind the hotel.

Relax by the creek.
Posted Jan 3, 2012
Located within walking distance of attractions on Gatlinburg main street yet away from the constant traffic noise. Sounds of the water flowing in the creek is very relaxing, slept very well. Plenty of soap, towels, etc. Adequate breakfast, wine and cheese and cookies and milk in the evening a nice touch. Great place to sit on porch/terrace and read/relax. Would definitely stay there again.

Haven't been disappointed in 40 years.

Pros: Wine and cheese in the afternoon; milk and cookies at night.
Location: Can easily walk to everything in town.
I think the fact that I've been coming back to Zoder's for 40 years probably says something about the quality of my experience with them. When I stay in a hotel I expect the rooms to be clean and comfortable and the staff to be helpful. It is what Zoder's does 'over and above' expectations that makes them the best hotel in Gatlinburg.

A great family place with a great view!!

Pros: The patio and the Bed!!
Cons: Could have used a bit more room in the bathroom to place items perhaps an additional shelf over the toilet.
Location: Easy to get to Pigeon Forge without the traffic of Gatlinburg.I
A very nice hotel, a bit dated perhaps but the bed is tremendously comfortable!! Heated tile floor in the bathroom a big plus! A bit small in our creek side room but the outdoor patio with a chaise lounge, two chairs and a small table added space! The creek was really an interesting addition! Ducks wadding and quacking was fun. Although it is not a babbling brook but really a roaring river, when you open the door you will be surprised how fast the water is rushing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Zodders is located at the very beginning of the one mile strip of the shopping area of Gatlinburg and there is a trolley stop just a few steps away. The pools were clean and there are two indoor racket ball courts. A very small weight room is located in the breakfast area, this made it a bit uncomfortable for me to work out there as everyone is eating in basically the same room. I like to work out in the morning and that is when folks are getting their breakfast. The breakfast is adequate; toast, small bagel or a tiny Danish. Cereal & milk, yogurt, choice of fruit- an apple or an orange. Juice choices are apple or orange juice and hard boiled eggs. Of course coffee and tea. In the eve cookies & milk for the kids and we did not go but they had a small cocktail hour with wine & maybe cheese I am not sure. We had a good visit and would go again!

Loved the creek view :)

First of all, this hotel is NOT a Best Western anymore and when I asked about it the guy who checked me in was very rude and acted like I was the stupid one, that I should have known they weren't a Best Western, even though they had just changed a month ago. We did speak to a manager later about this and she did apologize and she said he should have called another local Best Western since we were uninformed about this change. The room was great! Very spacious and well kept! You can tell they have kept up with it and renovated as needed. The creek view rooms are well worth the extra money, it was beautiful to sit out by the rushing creek and it was so loud it drowned out any noise that may have been coming from other rooms. The continental breakfast was great and the evening cookies and milk were a nice treat after being out all day. It was within walking distance to most of downtown Gatlinburg but we didn't feel like we were downtown in a busy town, it was so nice! We had a great stay there and would definitely stay there again!
