“Thoroughly recommend the Hilton Gdansk”

The hotel was in a good location, close to the town centre and right on the river. Our room was large with a seating area, plenty of drawer and hanging space, good lighting, comfortable bed with good bedlinen. Bathroom had a separate shower and bath, good water pressure and Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. Good hairdryer too. Breakfast was a substantial selection with eggs made to order. Liked the fifth floor bar at night - quite intimate and cosy whereas the main bar was cold and empty. Gdansk is good for a weekend break with enough to see and keep you occupied. We particularly liked the microbrewery Browarnia in the Hotel Gdansk across the frozen river. Beer was excellent and the food was good too and reasonably priced. I would certainly recommend the Hilton Gdansk and would return next time. A visit to Sopot on the local train is a must.

“Excellent Hotel”

Very nice location in the city centre, nice bar and restaurant. Good sized rooms and very clean. Although I didn't get a chance to use the pool it looked amazing. Only complaint was the noise generated in the open centre court. Would definitely stay again and recommend highly for both a business and holiday traveller.

Really lovely hotel. Had really massive beds even in standard rooms. Bath and shower cubicle separte. Really large rooms which felt very luxurious and very cheap! Have breakfast in segafredo cafe outside main entrance. It was really lovely and much cheaper than hotel.

“A wonderful and extremely comfortable hotel”

We very much enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Hilton Gdansk which has an excellent riverside location a few minutes walk from the main street ulica Dluga. Our room was spacious with all mod-cons - an extra large bed, walk-in shower, tea and coffee, iron and ironing board, sofa and wifi which is so essential these days. Somewhat unusually for a hotel there was no noise disturbance as the room was well insulated. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive with the option of certain dishes such as omelettes being cooked to order. On the top floor was a roof terrace with stupendous views of the River Motlawa and the old town. Also on the roof was a pool but the adjacent sauna was so small it could only accomodate one person at a time. The main problem we had was the aircon in the room which did not work throughout our stay. However on the penultimate day of our stay we were given a complimentary bottle of merlot after the very helpful staff had failed to fix the problem. Notwithstanding this hiccup we would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed there for part of our honeymoon. It was awesome. Everything Hilton can offer. Pool was great, location is perfect. There is a water taxi that docks right in front of the hotel. So if you are going to Hel or Westerplatte it is very convenient. Brand new hotel. Modern. If you are looking for something more "polish/original" go somewhere else. This hotel is great, but has beautiful modern decor that isn't "old style" like the rest of the city. Enjoy Gdansk. Make sure you take the ferry to Hel. Great sightseeing on the way, plus best beaches in Poland.

“Perfect Location - Lovely Service”

Great hotel. Clean. Good service. Lovely pool on the roof. Great location right on the waterside close to the Maritime Museum and all the most beautiful areas of the town.

Excelent hotel in the city, good facilities, it has a poll and a nice sauna.
