Liked the contemporary look and comfort of the hotel. I especially was impressed that we were able to get a breakfast-to-go on our check out day because we had to leave early, before breakfast got served, to catch our plane. Thanks for the service!

“Perfect for a w/e in Gdansk”

Hotel Aureus is a fantastic small hotel near the Polish Post Office (of especial interest to those who've read The Tin Drum) within 5 minutes walk of Gdansk's old town & waterfront. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff; clean and comfortable rooms (although no English language TV channels!); fantastic breakfast. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

“Great hotel”

This hotel is an unexpected oasis in an otherwise delapidated part of town. Very stylish and well furnished. They have their own in-house chef who cooks up the best traditional breakfast I've ever had in a hotel.

“Great Small Boutique Hotel”

Within easy walking distance of the OLD TOWN (10 minutes) and the waterfront. 800 meters to the train station was an easy stroll. You must go to SOPOT (preferably on a sunny day)...its very easy 1.75 PLN pp each way (about 60 - 70 cents per person in CAD dollars). The weather was a bit rainy but that didnt stop us from enjoying Gdansk and Sopot. There is no air conditioning, but it didnt matter to us as the weather was very comfortable to sleep. The rooms was spotless and very clean. We had one of the apartments which was awesome! And they had a BOSE stereo system too...that was great. Staff spoke excellent English! Would definitely stay here again...now that I know where it is LOL...

LOVELY HOTEL IN A GREAT SITUATION IN THE CENTRE OF TOWN.FREINDLY STAFF AND GREAT BUFFET BREAKFAST.

“Conveniently positioned for the Old City”

A quiet hotel on the outskirts of the Old City. The hotel was very clean and the service was first class from the moment we arrived. We will definately stay here again.

“A Little Jewel in Gdansk.”

The Hotel Aureus in Gdansk is a little jewel in easy walking distance of the old town. There is a great restaurant on premises and the staff goes out of their way to be helpful. Rooms are small but very clean and the bathrooms very modern. Would do it again.

“Very nice hotel”

Staff is really friendly and even that the location is not the best (3 blocks from tourist spots) it is worth to stay since it is in a quiet area and the hotel architecture has the taste of Gdansk.

“Great Find!”

The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of the old town and there is a handy small shop nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms very clean and modern. but do ensure you get the room you paid for, I asked to be moved to a bigger room which they arranged. Would stay again

“A little gem”

Handy location, lovely decor, helpful english speaking staff. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was really good. Breakfast was good too. We would definitely stay here again.
