“Clean,quiet and fabulous showers!”

This hotel was great!Just out of the centre of Gdansk Old Town,but because of that, very quiet and good transport links to the town centre. Staff were lovely and really helpful and spoke excellent English..our Polish was basic to say the least! The hotel was spotless and the showers were fantastic..very powerful and piping hot! The breakfasts were fresh,large, with lots of choice and served at sensible times. We will definitely be back and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others.

“Fantastic little hotel in Gdansk”

This small hotel is very convienient to all sites and is overall a perfect place to stay. Buses run all day and all night to the city center and sites all over the city. TZhe location is great since the bus reide takes no more than about 8 mins to old town. The staff is beyond pleasant and the breakfast in the morning could not be better.

“comfort and ambience are key”

we wanted to be close to downtown Gdansk and price was a factor as well.....it's reasonably close to the airport.......scenic drive .....public transit is just out side the door but we chose the convenience of taxi.............................................restaurant choices are limited to two small restaurants ( closed for a wedding on the night we were there) at another hotel within a few hundred meters and one family run that is short on service...... would advise eating in Gdansk for lunch and dinner...breakfast was good with a variety of choices......Staff was helpful in Polish and English.....helped with tourist highlights, public transit, etc.......some traffic noise at night but with windows closed should not interfere with sleep......would definitely recommend this hotel to others......overall , our experience was excellent.

“Good for the price”

Very clean, friendly staff, well above 2 star - if you dont expect too much from the TV, all local stations. Althoo just outside the city centre there are lenty of busses and taxis are very cheap and the travelling into town extended the holiday experience.

“Convenient to public transportation and a short ride to the center of town.”

Every request we made they were able to fill including getting an English-speaking driver to take us to the Baltic seacoast to do a search for an ancestorial home.

“Good staff”

Staff were very helpful. I arrived at 11pm and receptionist was friendly. In the morning a different receptionist answered my questions, printed out a train timetable for me and gave directions- which helped a lot. Room was good too.

“Very nice hotel”

Chief drawback is distance from city center - you must be prepared to use Gdansk public transportation. Fortunately it's not hard. You can buy a day ticket for a few dollars and navigate all over the city on buses and trams. The rooms at Villa Angela are very comfortable, the staff is knowledgable and speak perfect English. The breakfast buffet is more than good. There is a supermarket just across the street. We had a very pleasant stay.

“Good Place to stay”

hotel is placed not far from center of Budapest. It is very clean hotel with new rooms. Only negative is that our room was on the small side. This, howeve; wasn't out of ordanary since I has similar room in Poland. The people at the service desk are nice and helpfull. Make sure that you have water and food with you to avoid prices at hotel mini bar.

“Great suburban hotel”

Great value hotel in the hilly suburbs of Gdansk. Nothing in the actual area of interest, but 2.5km from the Old Town, and only ZL3 on a regular bus, or around ZL15 in a taxi. Well maintained, with comfortable modern rooms, and an excellant buffet breakfast

“Fine for the price”

(I must try not to let me view be skewed by the inconsiderate, noisy Russians next door) Although out of the town centre the buses make access in and out easy and cheap. My room was slightly tatty - looked like some minor decorative repairs were in progress - but warm, dry and comfortable. It was very well cleaned each day. Plenty of grub for breakfast. Friendly staff. Taxi to airport at early time was 35zl for info.
