Too noisy

We stayed there Friday night, although the staff were lovely, the other guests were not. They were drunk and carrying on in the carpark in the early hours and woke us up. The air conditioning unit is very old and noisy so it sounded like a truck in the room.

Central location, good value for money

The staff were friendly and helpful. What let the stay down was the noise from guests coming in at 2am and making lots of noise. The owner would quickly quieten them down, but then another group came in and he had to tell them to be quiet. It was Queen's Birthday weekend which may have had some bearing on the partying. The owner/manager made quite an effort to try and keep the noise to a minimum - there were even young children out playing at 2am.

Location: Try waterfront apartment - great location next to shops and beach
I booked this motel before reading reviews and was nervous after reading many negative feedbacks. **The motel is just fine - the room is as expected at any staying motel.** It's clean... (except for where is the owner in the morning to take the keys - I hope you recovered all Guest's keys dumped on desk this morning at 10am when everyone banged on door until I notice another way to enter to enable keys to be dropped off - maybe should change opening hours on door and put a return keys box). **Please note this motel does not have a swimming pool as stated - it is using the beach's pool as its own! - this needs to be taken off website!. didnt get a chance to eat there but sleeep and shower.
