“Close to Train, Resturants and the Lake”

A small but very clean hotel , a short walk from the train station after passing dozens of resturants. A short walk to the Lake for the tourist activities. Perfect for my quick visit and friendly staff who spoke english. Great breakfast with a relaxed atmosphere. Not recomended for families due to some shops in the district.

“Great hotel, questionable neighborhood”

The Admiral was a great faclity. Staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast offered a variety of really good, healthy choices. The Sex Shop next door isn't a great thing, but really didn't effect our stay. The neighborhood celebration of Fete Geneva" went on until morning.

“Great Pick in Geneva”

Extremely satisfied. Staff was excellent, great location, about a 4 minute walk from Lake Geneva. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and included all the amenities. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful, a great selection and variety of food - suitable for virtually any diet. I will definitely book here again on my next trip to Geneva.

“A very pleasant stay”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a three day break. We were very satisfied with the hotel. The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. Excellent breakfast choice. The hotel is closely situated to the train station which has good links to many towns and cities. Lake Geneva is within a short walking distance and you can enloy a pleasant stroll along the lakeside. A very enjoyable stay.

“Was worried, but turned out ok”

Check-in was a madhouse. One guest demanding a refund, others trying to negotiate for a missing hotel room. By the time we got to the desk 15 minutes after entering the hotel, we were a bit worried if we had made the right choice. Turns out everything was fine. Room was clean and good for European standards, location was close enough to the train station, access to the airport couldn't have been easier (and was free with the travel cards provided). Reasonably priced for Geneva makes the Admiral a solid stay. Would stay again, but I'm still spooked about the other guests who were not at all happy with the hotel. Also, be aware the hotel is literally right next door to a sex shop so think twice before checking-in with the young-uns. Typical of most older european hotels, you leave the key with the front desk, the rooms are smallish and the elevator/lift is tiny. Not detractors, but some Americans tend to be surprised by these things so go understanding this is what makes Europe charming and quant.

“Good Location”

The best things about the hotel are its location near the train station and the extensive breakfast included in the price. Our room was small, but clean and perfectly adequate. The staff was helpful and provided us with day tickets to use on the public transportation system (including the excellent train to the airport).

“Good stay; near the train Station”

Nice clean hotel that was convenient to the train station; a short easy walk. The area at night is a little exciting and was not recomended for a walk. Daylight however rids the area of the night walkers.... Hotel is clean and check-in was a breeze.

“Good Location & Good Service - Will Stay There Again”

The hotel is just a few minutes walk to either the main train station & the lake, and it is very close to a couple of supermarkets and many restaurants. The breakfast is simply great, staffs are very friendly. Room has a ceiling fan which help to keep the room cool on a warm day. Overall, a pleasant place to stay in Geneva.

Nice enough hotel. Close to railway station and to lake. Breakfast was great. Small rooms, though typical for European hotels. Only consideration would be that it is probably not family friendly because you are right next to the red-light district of Geneva (as in there is a sex shop next door). No biggie for me, but some may be a bit freaked out by the area. Overall felt safe though.
