A nice place for an overnight stayPosted Jan 27, 2015
Stayed at Auteuil for one night on a weekend. A nice and clean place with a good location. Although a bit pricy. The only shortcoming was the room preparation: - they could have paid more attention to the conditions of small fixtures, such as toilet paper hangers and buthtub drain plugs. In my room they didn't work - a dust bin wasn't emtied, which is rather a big screwup for a hotel of such level.

Good setup for short family stay.Posted Jan 4, 2015
Cons: Tirn the heating down - it was sweltering.
Rooms were comfortable and clean. Good internet and tv in multiple languages with good variety. Conveniently located a short walk to train station - one stop for free to airport - and lake, etc. not much of a view and on busy main road but well insulated with good curtains so no issues for the price. Adjoining rooms were perfect for us and a 3rd single bed was supplied our 3rd kid so good for a family of 5. Would stay again.

Wonderful hotel with great staff!Posted Jan 3, 2015
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Auteuil. When we first walked in, we were met with very friendly and helpful staff who spoke perfect English. The room was clean and the furnishings were new. The elevators were a little small, enough to a accommodate only two people. The hotel backs up to Gare Cornavin, the main reason station in Geneva, but the noise was minimal. The hotel, like all in Geneva, offers a transportation pass that gives you free access to all trams, buses, and ferries in the city. There is a bus and tram stop just outside the hotel, and it is about 400 yards down the street from Gare Cornavin, so getting around Geneva was quick and easy. The breakfast at the hotel cost 28 Fr., about $30, so we opted to skip it, choosing to buy our own food at the Micros grocery store down the street at Gare Cornavin. But be forewarned, this is am average price for a meal in Geneva. Even eating at McDonald's down the street set us back 30 Fr. for just two people. Overall, we had a lovely stay at Hotel Auteuil, and we will definitely be staying there again next time we pass through Geneva.

Good stay in Geneva.Posted Dec 21, 2014
Pros: room size is very good for 2 persons.
Location: It is less than 5 minutes from the Geneva Cornavin train station and easy 5 to 10 walk to the lake. Several restaurants around and towards the train.
This hotel was recommended by a friend and it was a good stay. The hotel is comfortable and still in good shape. The front desk crew were very cordial and helpful.

charming and modernPosted Dec 11, 2014
Central location. Clean and comfortable hotel. Like the free wifi. A kettle is provided together with tea and coffee which is nice. There is a gym in the hotel - definite plus. The options of an expressed breakfast plus a full buffet one are great.

Nice hotel, close to station.Posted Dec 11, 2014
Pros: Location, price, friendliness of staff
Cons: Only two suggestions to improve stay would be a kettle in room and also different pillows as ones we had during stay we're extremely soft!
Location: You can get to this hotel with ease. Five minutes from station and train ride to airport seven minutes. Great base to explore Geneva
First impression of hotel good. Staff extremely helpful. Given a travel pass for geneva on arrival and for use during duration of stay. Room itself clean, tidy. Strange kitchenette in room which had a very fancy coffee machine but no instructions on how to use. Kettle would have been far better. General location extremely convenient to station and main hub of geneva. Great for local shops and tram outside hotel.

comfortablePosted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Effectively run city centre hotel
Location: Within easy walking distance of train station for the traveller with baggage, giving easy access to train, tram, taxi and bus route through centre and
Small city centre hotel, convenient for train station. Clean double room en suite with comfortable queen double bed, well noise insulated so that neither the lift next door or the tgv station adjacent caused any inconvenience. I staff were effective and responsive. I would stay again.
