“The staff went out of their way to be lovely...”
Just had the most pleasant night. The room was beautiful, I requested a lake view room - which we got, free softdrinks and water in the minibar, lovely bar, beautiful foyer. Highly recommend!

“Nice Hotel, walking distance to all attractions in Geneva”
A really nice hotel within walking distance of all of Geneva city centre. Room we had (a superior room) did not have a lake view but it was well decorated and very cosy with lots of room. Also the mini bar items are included in the room cost which is a nice little bonus, especially when thirsty in the morning. Though it is only soft only stocked with soft-drinks (mineral water, coke, etc.).
“Great Location and Beautiful”
My husband and I traveled to Geneva to visit our son at University there. We were especially pleased that the hotel is close to the train station, situated directly on Lake Geneva and within walking distance to most of the sites, especially old city. The room was spacious, luxurious and well appointed. We contacted the reservation desk ahead of our arrival and requested a lake view which they were able to provide for us. For the price we paid through Expedia, it was well worth it!
“perfect gem of a boutique hotel”
This hotel felt like a little gem in a box. I don't know how many guests were there, but I could swear I was the only one from the service I got. The staff could not have been more receptive to even the smallest of requests. Fabulous location with gorgeous views of the lake. Fantastic bar with great service. What a great value of a hotel - it felt like 6 star service at 4 star prices.
“Brilliant”
As it was very hot when we visited Geneva we spent a lot of time in the hotel which was perfect for a short break. The deluxe room was spacious and adequately kitted out. The mini-bar contained soft drinks only but were free... :) Bathroom was REALLY clean (which is really important for us) The staff were really friendly and helpful. A well earned 5 star hotel. The only thing i could be negative about was the lack of english channels available on the T.V
“Fantastic all around!”
The room was amazing, very comfortable...and even had a towel warmer in the bathroom...very nice. The staff was very attentive to my needs, being a marathon runner nursing an ankle issue, I asked for ice and was brought the biggest ice pack I have ever seen, in a pillowcase! The hotel staff was also able to get my tickets to Lyon, France and have them for me at the desk later that afternoon for my departure the next day. Definitely would stay again, Loved It! It's not cheap by any means, but worth every penny.
“Good Choice in Geneva”
Hotel de la Paix combines a good location with an excellent staff. It sits on Lac Leman where the Rhone leaves the lake and is within convenient walking distance of the Old City and a number of good restaurants. The staff is very attentive and the front desk personnel are excellent advisors on restaurants and things to do. Although the public areas are a little below five star standard, and the halls could use some new paint, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The petit dejeuner is particularly good and the high quality of the food is exceeded only by the height of the price, but if price is a concern, don't go to Geneva at all these days. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would gladly return there.
