“Would like to have stayed longer”

For a 3 star hotel it was lovely. We had 2 rooms and stayed 1 night at the start of our hols and 1 night at the end as it was not far from the airport. Food was fairly good and the entertainment fun. Nice swiss chalet rooms with good selection of toiletries. Would have liked Tea and Coffee making facilities though.

“Perfect hotel”

I usually pore over hotel reviews before actually picking one and this trip was no exception. Finding a hotel in Geneva that was reviewed highly was difficult in this price category. All were reviewed as too loud, too far away..etc. I was very happy with the quality of the hotel, I spend over four months per year in Europe and this was a very positive experience. Quiet and beautiful rooms with all the amenities I needed. I would definitely go back!

“Tyroler experience”

for those who like a themed-hotel, Edelweiss is a good choice. It's a funny, little hotel well-positioned by lake Geneva. Friendly and attentive staff. Plan a night at the hotel restaurant, it's an experience not to be missed.

“Friendly fun stay in the heart of Geneva”

Excellent base for exploring Geneva and beyond with extremely comfortable rooms. Friendly staff sorted out the best place to park and were always willing to give advice - we were not disappointed with any of their recommendations. Hotel restaurant offered typical Swiss ambience and was enjoyed by adults and kids.

“Excellent Hotel and Location.”

My friend and I visited Geneva for a 5 day city break and stayed at Hotel Edelweiss. It is located just a 5 minute walk from the lake and only a 10 minute walk from the train station. The number 1 bus stops right outside in Navigation square. The hotel is central yet in a very quiet location away from the hustle and bustle, couldn't be better. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with all mod cons including TV, Safe and Mini Bar. Whilst the rooms are individually decorated in typical swiss chalet stlye with wood panelling, the bathroom was ultra mod, immacualte and huge! The restaurant is a must do with traditional dishes and live entertainment each night. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller.

“Great little hotel in Geneva for a great price”

Hotel was perfect. We came in August, for one day, one night on our way to Annecy and enjoyed our brief stay in Geneva. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The location is perfect. It is close enough to the train station to walk, but far enough to be out of the 'red light' district (which really isn't that sketchy at all). Either way, the area is quiet and has quite a few restaurants and eateries within walking distance. The room had a great view of the water jet and the lake. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Good value, comfort and location”

I stayed at the Edelweiss in July for two nights and was very pleased. The room was decorated in a traditional Swiss style not usually found in the city. Everything in the room seemed new and fresh. Sound proofing was good, the air conditioning worked well. The location is a 10 minute walk from the train station, 5 minutes to the walking path along the lake and 15 minute walk to the old town. Would defintely return.

“Recommended”

Excellent quiet location just minutes from the lake. Very pleasant and helpful staff and a comfortable well furnished room which was only missing a non slip mat in the bath. Breakfast was adequate if a rather pricey extra at SwF12 with a choice of hot and cold food. We would stay there again especially for it's convenience.

“Love it!”

The hotel is so close by the Gare train station that u could just walk over. Once u check in the receptionist so nice to give u a Geneva Card which lets u ride bus, tram, boat near Mont Blanc, and train for free!!!! Great Value for the place i mean the price is higher then most 3 star hotel but it very traditional Switzerland hotel. the restaurant is great too. best thing for me is that they have a computer for u to use to check email and things like that, if there is no one waiting u can use it till who knows when, also if needed they let u print stuff too. Over all I love this hotel.
