“Great Hotel - Cheaper than Most”

When we arrived to check-in we were given free Tram passes that could be used all day. Hotel staff very friendly and fluent in English. We needed a cab to get to the airport at 4:30am and the front desk set it up and Taxi was waiting for us at 4:25am.

Area recommendations
We really liked this location because it was not as expensive as the area across the bridge on the south side of town. Pleanty of Cafe's/Restaurants and bars really close.
Getting around
Easiest way to get around is walking. We walked from Hotel les Nations over to the Jet d'eau and all around the shopping district. Tram's are everywhere but we preferred to walk. Also, taxis are readily available.
Must see
The Jet d'eau is a must see as well as the Flower Clock and the shopping disctict. All are within close walking distance. Also, the Cathedral and The Russian Orthodox Church.
Other
BE sure to take plenty of money. Everything in Switzerland is expensive from food to activities to transportation. Typical meals are $25-35 per person.
