Meget sentralt plassert hotell.Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Det meste
I nærheten av både gamlebyen og "stranden", i umiddelbar nærhet av "shoppinggata" og mange spisesteder mm. Et fint alternativ.

Great room for 1 person.Posted Jul 17, 2012
Pros: The bedding was wonderful!
Cons: The room was tiny.
The room was tiny but charming. Since I was alone in the room it was fine, but if more than 1 person stayed in the room it would have been too small.

Happybstay for family of fivePosted Aug 18, 2010
I wasn't sure what to expect. Our suite was a weird layout but had plenty of space. An amazing terrace with furniture and we were out there a lot. The view included the lake. Hotel is close to the old section, the lake and the tourist center. You could walk to the train station in 15 mins. Taxis right out front. Globus grocery straight ahead. Great shopping we felt very safe. Other than a lot of spidersnwhich I attribute to the age of the hotel it was clean. The breakfast was more than adequate and the only one person who refused to let our family sit togeer the first day never was seen again. Also my daughter forgot her jewelry the hotel found it and mailed it nome. I would return there again and found everyone trying to be l eery graciousnand helpful.

Longemalle needs an updatePosted Jul 14, 2010
Clean neat, badly in need of an update, terrible value for money. Rooms too small not air-conditioned which is not so bad if one could open the windows: but opening windows also not an option due to the noise from the street. Would have been weary of staying there had I traveled alone. Staff however, were pleasant and courteous to deal with and knowledgeable of the city. Included breakfast should be skipped.

Excellent LocationPosted May 30, 2007
Having stayed in Geneva many times at more "modern" hotels located near Gare Cornavin, we chose this hotel for its location closer to the Old Town. We stayed over Easter when it was reasonably quiet. The location is not far from the Pont Mont Blanc and very near the old town and the main shopping street. I could imagine that during busy weeks, you could get a little noise from the road, however, this was not something that bothered us. With the Rue De Fontaine, the old town, the main shopping street and the harbour being only a minute's walk away, this was an ideal place to base our leisure weekend. The hotel and room decor was "quaint" maybe a little dated rather than modern and the room was not large, however, this added to the cosy, traditional feel. There was no bar although we had use of the neighbouring hotel's bar which allowed us to charge to our room anyway. Similarly there was not restaurant (a breakfast buffet was served however) and again if we had wished we could have used the neighbouring hotel's restaurant (we chose to eat out to explore more of the local cuisine). The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. On Easter Sunday we had breakfast in the room and we were both presented with a chocolate Easter hen which was a nice touch. If and when we go back, this will be at the top of our list of hotels to stay at.
