“If only we could see in the room better and afford the breakfast.”

Our room was spacious, well appointed, lots of storage space, the bathroom was very modern though small. The main complaint was that the lightbulbs were so dim, we could barely see in the room after dark. In fact the iighting was so poor that I put on a sweater inside out and didn't discover that fact until we were in our well lighted restaurant. I complained at the front desk and one of the assistants did bring another lamp to the room, it barely helped because the bulbs re so dim. They were all the new energy-efficient bulbs, but none of those have to be so dim. Other than that annoying situation, the room was very comfortable. The other negative was that the breakfast was not included in our room rate and the cost was SF36,00 which was extremely high. Needless to say we went out side the hotel to find something to eat which was not easy.

nice hotel, excellent location. room large by European standards. only thing that would make it better is sufficient lighting to read in bed.

“Excellent location and staff”

We stayed at the Hotel Rotary May 2-4. It has an excellent location within walking distance of Lake Geneva and the pedestrian walkways over to the other side of the lake where there are many stores and restaurants. We were given an automatic upgrade when we checked in. The hotel is old and our room was old but very clean and well kept. The bathroom had obviously been updated and was very nice. The fixtures were upgraded from a standard room and we were supplied with plush robes, bathroom slippers, absorbent bath sheets, and upgraded toiletries. We were given complimentary bottles of water at our arrival and each day were supplied with miniature chocolate bars. The front desk staff especially Thais were excellent. Thais gave me directions and suggested what we should do and where we should go each day. We were also given free passes to use on the buses, trams and boats. Internet access was also provided free. The only negative besides the price (Geneva is an extremely expensive city) was that the hotel has no garage. We had to park at a public lot which they suggested which was expensive. They did tell us that the street parking around the hotel was free from 7 pm to 8 am so we did that the second night.

“Nothing to complain”

Everything was smooth. We did the check-in very fast, they were very helpful with our question. Always trying to help. The room was very spacious and clean. The localization is great, walking distance from the old city center.

“Excellent experience!”

Truly excellent experience from the instant of check-in through check-out! Excellent staff and very comfortable and well furnished room. Pricing is a good value in Geneva, and the hotel is conveniently located. Will DEFINITELY stay here on my next visit to Geneva.

“Great hotel for a very low price”

The Rotary Hotel surpassed my expectations. I thought that it was an amazing value and i would have been happy with it even if had I paid significantly more. It is a 8 minute walk to the old town, located right by the lake and very close to the train station. the room was quite large and well appointed. Visitors arriving in Geneva can get free train transportation, just pick up a ticket from the machine at baggage.

“nice hotel in a convenient location”

comfortable room with coffee-maker and mineral water. very clean and quiet atmosphere in the center of the city easy to reach from the airport, by train and short walking.

take a free train ticket at the airport (where you get your luggage) and walk 5 minutes to the hotel expensive but nice buffet breakfast

“Hotel Rotary”

The hotel was very much a boutique type hotel. Nice rooms. The restaurant was somewhat limited in it's selections from their restaurant. The "petite Dejuener"in the morning was very pleasant and had a good selection. My only complaint was the 40 Swiss franc service charge to use my credit card to pay my incidental charges on checkout.
