Great location across from train station. Friendly staff, speak English, great breakfast , quiet rooms. On pedestrian mall straight access to lake.

Very good location. Free wifi and breakfast. Friendly staff. Rooms recently refurnished. And again very good location (across the street from the train station, and surprisingly very quiet at night).

This was a great little hotel, its clean, tidy with good sized, comfortable rooms. The bathroom was well appointed and clean. It is in a good location, close to the to the to the station, shops and Catholic church. But it never gets too noisy. The night porter always met with a smile a friendly face (no matter what time I rolled in). The breakfast staff was always professional and very helpful and made me feel welcomed. The cleaning staff always made my room perfect everyday as well as keeping the hotel clean and tidy. And receptionists always greeted me with kind words and a friendy manner. This is the hotel I'll be staying at the next time I come to Geneva.

“Great value in a convenient location”

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the main railway station, only a few minutes train ride from the airport. Despite arriving at 11am, our room was immediately available. As a bonus, we were given free tourist passes for the public transport system covering both days of the stay. The room was clean and well maintained. A very good continental buffet breakfast was included. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The area around the hotel has plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, and the lake is only a 10 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again.

“Fantastic, trouble-free choice in Geneva”

The Suisse Hotel is Geneva offers clean, spacious rooms in a central location at a great price. Located directly accorss from the main train station, the Hotel has easy access to the lake, old town, and trains or buses going in all directions. The free transit card provided by the hotel allows you to use local public transportation - inlcuded an 8-minute train ride to the airport -- for no cost. The contidental breakfast is in a large, sunny room and offers a nice array of fresh foods. The desk staff is always available and helpful. English, along with several other languages is readily spoken at the front desk. Internet is available in the lobby for a fee; WIFI is available in the rooms. Central location allows you to open your windows and get a taste of the local flavor, or close them and enjoy a relaxing silence. Rooms are individually climate controlled, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spacious, well appointed and recently re-tiled. Mini-fridge and tea/coffee maker inlcuded. Great Thai restaurant half a block away, with dozens of other choices close at hand. Would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Excellent Location and Excellent Service”

We stayed here for 4 nights during June 2007. The hotel is very well located for access to/from the airport (10 mins by train) and other places of interest as it is across the road from the railway station (no problems at all with noise from trains). Lots of shops/eateries etc very nearby. 2 x lifts to bedrooms. Good air conditioning and brilliant black out blinds. Remember to ask for a non-smoking room if you don't like the smell of stale cigarette smoke though. A substantial buffet-style continental breakfast was included in our tariff. I would recommend this smallish hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

“All in all an excellent hotel”

The hotel is very comfortable and well situated. The staff are very helpful and friendly. My husband and I have stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions, and each time we have been very happy with the service and have enjoyed our stay. The only criticism I have is that the central heating cannot be individually adjusted in the rooms and as a result it can get too warm.

“Great Hotel in Great Location”

Across the street from the bus and train station, in the center of town with resturaunts, theaters and the lake within easy walking distance, this hotel is a find. Along with your stay the free public transport ticket allows access to the metropolitan Geneva region. The rooms are fine, the bathrooms clean and well maintained and the staff friendly and accomodating.

“Very good Geneva hotel in great location”

This hotel is very nice. The rooms are spotless and ours was cleaned every day and beds made, clean towels, etc. The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is that it does not offer any food other than breakfast. It would have been nice to have an evening meal there, but I can only think that this is why it is only a 3 star hotel, because in every other aspect it is superb. The location is excellent, only 2 mins walk over the road from Geneva main rail station, and that is under 15 mins journey to the airport. It is a good base for getting around and there are plenty of restaurants to eat in nearby, although most of the ones we found were quite expensive. Would definitely recommend.
