“Quiet designer hotel”

An excellent welcome after a week walking in the Alps. Comfortable modern room with good facilities. Good location to visit the 'old town' or the interesting suburb of Carouge. Easy access to public transport and complimentary day travel ticket avaiable form the hotel. A great place to stay at the end our holiday.

Great service, excellent location and real value for money. Staff very helpful, you get the feeling that they really do care and want your stay to be enjoyable. THEY EVEN HAVE AN ESPRESSO MACHINE IN THE GUEST ROOMS!!

Excellent hotel..reminds me of the "Art" series of hotels in Victoria..excellent room..excellent staff..excellent facilities..close to where I needed to be..and even if I had to travel about I was given free travel card in metro Geneva..so I didn't even need a ticket to get back to the airport..and as you can get a free ticket from the airport..public transport in Geneva costs the tourist nothing if you stay here! Great bathroom, clean, plenty of room..comfortable bed..plenty of hanging space..breakfast is a bit ..well..if you like eggs..could be a problem!..so have the French style breakfast and don't worry..when in Geneva does as the Genevois do! Staff great..wonderfully helpful..nothing too much trouble!

Excellent hotel in great location easy for all transport and walking distance from main areas. Staff very welcoming and the hotel bedroom was lovely and well stocked with water and a coffee machine. Buffet breakfast was very good. Would return to the same hotel on our next visit to Geneva

“Friendly, well located and very trendy”

We stayed over a weekend right after New Year, which meant the hotel was quiet. It's obviously popular 'cos the friendly staff said they were fully booked from Sun - Thu and usually heavily booked over those days. It's probably the trendiest hotel we've ever stayed at with a lot of small thoughtful touches that made the stay that much more pleasant. Even the lobby area was trendy, with lounge chairs and "internet chairs" complete with PC and surround-sound! And this hotel scored on two personal criteria: the shower was great and they had real coathangers, not some awkward dimple topped excuse for a hanger. The rooms (and lobby) had tasteful modern art on the walls (some of it for sale), and with a real coffee-maker. Swiss chocolate on arrival too!

“Excellent centrally located Gem with exceptional service”

The check in experience was warm, personal and efficient. I don't usually like being shown to my room, but the receptionist simply took me to my room and wished me good night - nothing over the top like explaining how to turn the taps on. The room itself was spotless, had a great coffee machine, lashings of free bottled water (4 half litre bottles is a first for me) and featured a good iPod dock, LCD TV, etc. The bed was comfortable and welcoming with crisp, white sheets, embellished with a sweet orange flavoured, heart-shaped, iced biscuit. I was checked out efficiently and directed to the University Hospital of Geneva, not with the usual sketch on a tourist map, but with the receptionist walking me half way down the street until he could point me towards the road I needed - excellent. I left my luggage there for the day and on returning found it had received a gift, a small bar of Toblerone - a nice present for the kids. Finally on needing further advice to reach the train station to Zurich, I was presented with a free public transport pass and step by step instructions to the station, via the excellent tram system. They even offered to check the train times for me. If you are after a weekend in a city with no idea where to go or what to do, the staff at this hotel would probably give you a personal tour. The service was simply exceptional. The fact that he hotel was clean, modern and comfortable was just the icing on the cake. Stay here and you won't be disappointed.

Can't see why ppl complain about the area around this hotel..I found it fine..not dangerous, not dirty..just fine! Staff were courteous and helpful at all times.The room was great..comfortable, largish, well appointed, good size bathroom..breakfast was fine, two great places to eat just across the road..my second stay in 12 months..would go back tomorrow..can't single this place out re cost of the room..that's just Switzerland!

Great service, clean room. My only issue is that there is no A/C in the room.
