“Good value and location for the money”

Nothing fancy, just a well-run, modest hotel in a convenient location to tourist attractions and UN facilities.

“On the seedy side”

The hotel was a bit seedy. It is well past its prime. Worn, chipped, stained, I could go on and on.

“Not terribly impressed”

Hotel had no guest parking. Room didn't have drapes on the windows so room very light once sun came up. No air conditioning, only a fan. Room had only one bath towel but they did respond promptly when more towels requested.

“Just okay in expensive Geneva”

This is a very odd hotel--it appears to be a converted apartment house, with tiny kitchenettes in each room. It is old and appears a bit rundown. But it is only two blocks from Lake Geneva, and a ten minute walk from the train station. The breakfast (included) is fine. My room was clean and functional, if a little shabby looking. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotle in Geneva--and those are hard to find--this is an okay choice. Just don't expect anything more than okay.

“Terrible Place to Stay”

There were no non-smoking rooms and the first room had such a dirty bathroom, we had to move to another. That one was not much better. Definitely do not stay here unless you are desperate to save a few bucks.
