Nice hotel, good locationPosted Jul 18, 2014
Got good deal on daily rate so based on this hotel is good value. Nice comfortable rooms. It is in a good location, close walking distance to main station and the lake. It's not very far from 'red light' area which may put some people off.

Falling apart interior, NoisePosted Jun 9, 2014
Cons: Better noise insulation and better interiors
This is by far the worst place that we have stayed in Switzerland (we've been here for 2 and 1/2 years and we should know). The bathroom paint had peeled off and the furniture and bathroom fittings required maintenance. The room was noisey.

Nice hotelPosted Jun 9, 2014
We liked this hotel as both near the main station and lake. Also near some nice cafes and restaurants. When we arrived the receptionist Nouredine was extremly helpful and suggested some places to eat etc. We would come again.

Good value family roomPosted Jun 2, 2014
Good family room for a one night stopover. Breakfast and parking pricey but the free Geneva travelcards came in handy for getting train to airport the following morning (and less than 5 mins walk to the station).

Great for location but very noisy rooms, not all rooms are non smoking so ensure you request one. Don't take a room on first floor as the street noise is like having the window open!

very good hotel, but not the best neighborhoodPosted Mar 19, 2014
nice hotel, great city, not too keen on the exact location in proximity to the "red light" district

Modern HotelPosted Jan 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed here in January and it was a lovely hotel that suited our needs. We had read about the neighbourhood, but it really wasn't an issue for us. During the day the area was lovely, great places for a coffee and to eat dinner and lunch near by. It was also walking distance from everything we wanted to see in the few days. It is a bout 10 min walk from the main train station which was handy for getting to the airport and around the city - especially with the free transport card. The staff were friendly and we also used the spa. We didn't eat in the hotel, so we can't comment on that. At night there were a lot more ladies hanging around street corners, but nothing was intimidating and there was security at the hotel door.No problem for couples. Great place for a 2/3 night stay.

OKPosted Jan 9, 2014
Everything was fine. I would only complain about the internet service. Logging on and off was cumbersome and annoying. If it's necessary to enter a login and password, then it should be simple and not a long string of numbers that one continually has to enter. There were 4 adults among us and everyone complained about accessing the internet. It shouldn't be so difficult!

Nice hotel, so-so areaPosted Jan 2, 2014
Cons: Employee were a little rude
The hotel is nice and the breakfast buffet was included and very good. The area where the hotel is located is a few blocks from the nice and tourist area. There is "adult" entertainment and soliciting around the block, not a family friendly atmosphere.

would not recommend for family with kids !!Posted Dec 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
At night the area surrounding the hotel becomes inconvinient due to the kind of people you do not want your children to be close to......the streets nearby are very dark at night and even though the hotel personell say it's safe, it does not feel that way.
