“Great location - value for money”
We were booked on an MSC cruise and this hotel was ideally situated. Met some others while there who walked to the port but we caught a taxi (which arrived very promptly when ordered through Reception) which was much easier and very reasonably priced. The hotel is in a tiny cobbled alley in the midst of the old medieval part of the city and only metres from the waterfront. The old exterior has been retained and exudes charm and character, whilst the interior is very modern and finished to a high standard. Reception staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with - they highlighted a walking route for us on a map and we had a very enjoyable time exploring. There are plenty of gorgeous little eateries in very close proximity, and very reasonably priced. A genuine pizza and a bottle of fine Italian wine - what more could you ask for after 36+ hours of travel! A more than adequate breakfast and access to the Internet were both included in the room rate. Fell in love with Genoa, would love to go back, and this is definitely where I would stay!
