The hotel was just what I was looking for! It was a great price and a great location, near Old Town, other tourist attractions, and the train station. The hotel itself was small, and the building older, and so the rooms and amenities were older. However, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the host and hostess were wonderful: very welcoming, warm, and friendly. There was also a common room with tables, a t.v., a microwave and small snacks and drinks for purchase. We really enjoyed our stay here and I highly recommend it.

Great location
It was located in a great area, walkable from the main train station in Genova. We enjoyed our stay but the wifi would kick us out every 30 minutes or so and we had to walk to the main area to get back in. The hotel was old and smelled like smoke. Overall it was ok. Wouldn't recommend as a first choice but worked well for our 2 nights!

Don't book this hotel as there is no price gurante
The worst experience in reservation for hotel room amongst 4 years travel in Europe. Booking 4 nights (19 to 23 September) at Hotel Bernhoef but the owner told me not accepting my reservation during my arrival. After deliberation, the first 2 nights became OK but the price of last 2 nights was incresed from 53 (origi nal booking price) to 70 Euro per night. Despite negotiation, the owner insisted the increase of price to 70 Euro. What I could do is to find another hotel and move out. May I advise all travellers not to book this hotel (Hotel Bernhoef at Genova) otherwise you have no guarantee of your reservation and your trip may be annoyed of no sleeping place in between.

My friend and I had to stay in Genova on short notice due to a delayed flight. Hotel Bernhoef was a reasonably priced option that was a very short distance from the train station. The hotel itself was on the second floor of a building that required you to buzz in. Once upstairs, the facilities felt a little run down, but the room itself was fairly clean. Overall, if I returned to Genova and had more time to plan I would go somewhere else, but considering the situation it was good.

Struttura comoda alla stazione. Noi volevamo andare a visitare l'acquario e il parco dei dinosauri per la gioia di nostro figlio. Comodo al porto. In via Balbi si trovano negozi, bar, ristoranti e tutto ciò di cui si ha necessità. Noi ci siamo trovati bene per il soggiorno di una notte. I proprietari sono gentili e pronti a darti ogni indicazione di cui si ha bisogno. Consigliato!

Réservation non respectée
Réservation faite il y a plusieurs mois. Arrivé sur place, aucune trace de ma réservation dans leurs "dossiers". Le proprio m'a alors proposé une chambre avec SdB commune, ce qui ne me plait pas mais que j'ai acceptée quand même. La prestation était correcte considérant le prix bas. On est dans le bas de gamme.

Hotel totalmente da restrutturare, stanze fatiscienti vecchie e piene di odori di vecchio, di aggiunta il proprietario probabilmente fuma e lodore di sigaretta si propaga per tutte le stanze, assolutamente non consiglio questo hotel. Punto di forza la posizione, vicina al centro storico. Non lo consiglio a family con bambini, quartiere malfamato

Отель очень скромный, старый, но удобно расположен, в 5 мин. от вокзала. Круглосуточная стойка регистрации. Довольно большой номер.

Small hotel for short trips.
Placed on the second floor of a palace, can be easy to miss. Informal ambient and cordial owners. Good for short stays, one or two night.

Struttura fatiscente, stanza accanto ad una cucina con rumori e odori. Tuttavia pulito. Unico vantaggio la posizione a pochi passi dalla stazione di piazza principe.

Avevo letto le opinioni riguardo questo hotel, combacia tutto perfettamente: struttura vecchia ma pulita, rumorosità eccessiva proveniente dalla strada sottostante, mi serviva come appoggio per una notte quindi cercavo qualcosa senza pretese ed economica, ok il prezzo ma non ho dormito tutta la notte! Qualsiasi rumore esterno anche il più piccolo viene amplificato al massimo, non vi dico quando passano gli autobus!

Пансион находиться в центре Мадрида,очень удобно пешком добираться до достопримечательностей. Номера не большие, с железными кроватями, но удобным матрасом. Милые хозяева.

Das Hotel ist mitten in der Altstadt und sehr nahe beim Hauptbahnhof was der Vorteil ist. Es gab kein Frühstück aber dafür hat es Restaurants in der Umgebung.

Abbiamo alloggiato il 21 agosto scorso con la famiglia. L'Hotel è sito al centro di Genova (di fronte al palazzo reale) in uno stabile condominiale. La pulizia è quello che più ci ha colpito, ........ oltre al prezzo! Titolari molto gentili e disponibili. Stanze piccole e "giuste" per riposare. Non c'è frigo in camera ma si ha la possibilità di lasciare bevande o medicine in fresco in un frigo comune dell'hotel. Profumo di pulizia dappertutto e tutto era perfettamente funzionante. La strada è di passaggio, ma nulla che disturbi il sonno o la quiete. L'hotel non fa colazione ma ha una macchinetta con brioches e bevande calde. Per prodotti freschi, giù c'è un bar proprio a lato dell'ingresso che fa ottimi cornetti e pasticceria in genere. Il prezzo è onestissimo e per chi vuole parcheggiare l'auto c'è una convenzione con un garage a costi accessibili. Alloggiate all'hotel Bernheof ..... Lo consigliamo.

rapport qualité prix impeccable pour ceux qui cherchent un hôtel pour passer la nuit.bon service bonnes prestations. Mais très dur de garer sa voiture et la mienne a eu la vitre arrière cassée et a été vidée pendant la nuit. Faut il dormir dans sa voiture en payant une nuit d’hôtel ????

Etape d une nuit à Gênes. Hôtel en étage d un immeuble d habitation, entre la pension de famille et l auberge de jeunesse. Confort simple mais propre et bonne literie. Situation assez correcte, proche aquarium et le centre historique est accessible à pieds. Pour le prix, difficile de trop en demander.

A due passi dal centro storico e dalla stazione, con vicino le le linee dei bus che permettono di raggiungere in pochi minuti il lungomare. Piccolo albergo al 3 piano con camere ben pulite e arredate.

Ho visitato Genova con particolare riguardo l'Acquario e tutta la zona del porto antico. Tutto è stato bellissimo. Soggiorno perfetto.
