“Great hotel for exploring Genoa”

This is a great hotel located in the centre of the Historic centre in Genoa, close to all the major attractions. We chose to get the bus from the airport and the hotels website gave clear directions, including bus numbers etc - the total distance to walk from airport to hotel is no more than 200m (probably less than it would be to collect a hire car at the airport) Our room was clean and well presented, as well as quiet. The hotels website contained descriptions of its facilities and these were accurate. Staff were very helpful and provided clear guidance on local tourist attractions and restaurants etc. However, check the menu and prices, as paying top price does not always give the best food or experience. Without doubt we will return to this hotel in the future and recommend it without reservation

“Nice, but some maintance issues.”

We stayed here one night on a very hot day in August. We arrived HOT and tired. While the place was clean and pleasant, our room's air conditioning barely pumped out sort of cool air. The desk clerk tried to help us get colder, but she could not make it any better. We were given a fan, which made the room tollerable through the night. Our TV was not working as well. Other than these issues, it was clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. It contains interesting art. Breakfast was fine as well.
