“Simply convenient”

I have stayed at many Genova hotels and found Marina Place a very pleasant hotel that suited all my business needs. The location provided easy access by car to the airport, city and all marinas. The inclusive breakfast, parking and broadband internet made the beginning and end to each day a simple affair. The room was well-appointed with modern facilities. Particular mention should be made of the proper-sized, comfortable bed and a quality walk-in shower.

“Easter break in Genoa”

This hotel is near the Genoa airport and a good 15 mins drive to downtown Genoa. We booked a room facing the marina which was great. The rooms were modern and rain shower was awesome. Rates include parking and wifi but the wifi was very slow (hint to upgrade). We also had some cocktails at the restaurant which was fabulous (euro6 each). Overall, excellent value stay in Genoa.

“Sheraton Genova”

The hotel is literally in walking distance of the airport which is great and the rooms were pretty quite due to the double layers of double glazing. However, there is nothing directly around the hotel so you are pretty much forced to eat in one of the restaurants inside the hotel. Even though the food is OK, the service is really poor and very slow. Not ideal if you are a business traveler and dine by yourself.
