a really nice place
this is a great hotel, I have stayed here twice before and I like it. The breakfast is quite extensive, but much too much for me as I don't usually eat that much in the morning (so it makes it too expensive for me). But I did eat one time, and it is very good. The staff is great, although occasionally the charming desk girl is more interested in going in the front to smoke a cigarette than in helping the patrons.

Treat yourself to a nice place like this
This place requires a taxi ride to get to, but I think it is worth it. It always felt very safe in this area, unlike the downtown area which sometimes was a bit dodgy. The only problems I had here were the people smoking in the next room and I couldn't get the heat/AC to work properly - I was always too hot or too cold and this would cause me to wake up at night. I loved walking around to eat at the local eateries in the area around this hotel - the pesto in Genova is unsurpassed! I mostly like to visit free parks and such, but I did break down and went to the Aquarium (like a tourist). The park with the waterfall close by is a real treat.

Hotel was in a good location and very clean. However elevator noise meant we asked to move rooms, which the staff were very accommodating about, but our new room had very loud people next door who kept us up. Overall an okay stay but not enough noise cancelling within the rooms.

Super clean, quiet, and well-located. The restaurant was closed unfortunately. The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable as you could hear/feel the springs. Overall s positive stay.

The rooms offered on the website was different from the room primarily offered from the hotel. We booked two superior rooms and what we got was quite different. According to the hotel, there were all part of the same category but the rooms were quite different (they used the pictures of nicest room obviously as the example of the room category). After 3 changes and some arguements the hotel staff managed to give us only one room similar to the booked accomadation. Some of the hotel staff could be much more friendly. Quite clean service, but old building...Bathroom quite tight and waterflow quite weak. No parking on site. All n all would not rate the hotel as 4 star and overpriced stay for the quality.

Great hotel, great location for couples/business
Great hotel, perfect location 5 min walk from center of town and relevant places to visit. Breakfast was efficient but lacking vegetables. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for one or two nights when visiting Genova. Also perfect hotel for business trip!

I love this hotel and have always rated it very highly. The only difference on this visit was the poor free internet connection which in the past has always been perfectly adequate for uploading content to social media. It may just have been the room on this visit and I didn't request anyone check out the problem - it's not life threatening

Really great hotel. Modern and easy to get around in Genoa. We never used the bus as we are able to walk everywhere.

Hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Genoa. Walking distance to all areas and also plenty of restaurants/cafes within walking distance. Don't miss the lovely park across the street with waterfall. Walk to the top and you get a lovely view over Genoa. Room is adequate for a short city break as we did. We didn't pay for breakfast as this seemed expensive and plenty of cheaper choices nearby. Staff were polite and helpful and area was quiet overnight. Would recommend for a short city break.

Great stay pity there was a problem in the kitchen with staff so no restaurant open for dinner would have been good considering the breakfast presentation will stay again
