“Nice Place”

Nice accommodations. Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Not much to see in the immediate area but a short walk to the subway that is extremely easy to navigate.

Its a business like hotel, which is a very convenient and central hotel, clean and comfortable and freindly.

I am generous perhaps but I didn't really need any more that this facility provided. Genoa is a happening town - they seem to be about business over there. A large port and bustling city. The hotel overlooks the port - which makes for a good view of town at night. It is right next to a freeway - if you have a car, this makes things quick. Overall very comfortable.

“Beware of parking”

When we arrived we were told that we needed to park before checking in. The problem was there was no parking spots remaining in the underground parking. We did not get a ticket that would allow normal exit, and getting out of the parking lot was an adventure to say the least. There were spots that could have been used except that cars had taken two spots. The bottom floor was HOT and there were three other vehicles stacked in front and behind us. So BEWARE.. you may need to park on the street. Overall the staff were not particularly helpful but the rooms were comfortable. Location was decent with bus transportation down the block.

“Nice but a bit far!”

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Novotel for our holiday to Genova for a week. The hotel itself was nice, everything was clean, I was especially impressed that the maids didn't pester us early in the morning to clean our room in the morning, but it was always tidy when we returned! The area itself isn't nice, but a 5min bus ride takes you directly to the centre (number 1), and they run until late. Genova itself was nice, food was amazing, weather a bit unpredictableat beginning of June, boiling sun one minute then a heavy rain shower for 5 mins! Aquarium is amazing, worth going midweek where the queues aren't crazy! Also wortgetting a week bus ticket from a newsagent, as shops/restaurants are closed Sunday and Monday till half 3! Overall good holiday and recommend the hotel, room was a good size but would suggest eating elsewhere than the hotel restaurant- tiny portions and overpriced!! :)

“Nice hotel, decent location”

Stayed here for 2 nights recently. Modern hotel, free wifi, parking 14 .50 euro per night. Location require about 1/2 hr walk to city center or 10 minute bus ride. No restaurants nearby but hotel restaurant is pretty good.

“Not the best area”

The area around the hotel was a bit seedy. The bus service seemed to stop early evening and it wasn't the best area to be out late at night.

“Nice room for the price”

Hotel staff was helpful and spoke excellent English. They provided me with information about local dining and transportation as well as a map and directions. Locating the hotel was fairly simple as it is located just a short distance from the autostrada. Hotel is about 1km from the train station and cab fare to the train station is only around 5 or 6 Euro. Breakfast was included which makes it simpler to get an early start to make the most of your vacation. Rooms are simple but well maintained which and I didn't go to Italy to sit in the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an inexpensive stay in Genova.
