Rather like a motel, but quite pretty.Posted Jul 31, 2013
Pros: Room was very clean and comfortable.
Cons: Swimming pool ws small and looked out over the road.
Location: Arenzano is a lovely little resort but the hotel was way outside the town, so if you want to go there I would recommend staying in the town.
Breakfasts were pretty average. They were always running out of milk and you had to hunt for a waiter to get the jug filled up. The orange juice was more like orange squash.

Pleasantly surprisedPosted Sep 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
Didn't know what to expect from this hotel before we arrived. It was a stopover on our way to Florence, but what a pleasant surprise. Firstly, it's conveniently situated off the motorway, but not particularly convenient for the town itself - which is a good 20 minute walk away. However the hotel itself was great, the family room was very spacious and clean. It's an unusual layout, with the swimming pool situated in the foyer, but it worked very well. Breakfast was buffet style with a good and varied choice. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - and the car park was free!! All in all a very pleasant stay.

Give this a miss, completelyPosted Jul 22, 2012
Pros: the local restaurant
Cons: everything aboiut this hotel
Location: poor, close to autoroute, but outside of town
Poor quality hotel in industrial area, north of town. cracked bathroom floors, poor quality cleanliness and overworked staff. We had booked two king beds, non smoking, but there are NO non-smoking rooms here and all beds are single mattresses. We were on a stopover and hoped to see the town but it is 2km north of the beaches, not a nice area, although the restaurant Al Fornico across the road was very nice. The pool was small and cold, it is not an outside pool and not heated, just the blinds open on one side to allow fresh air. The jacuzzi was small, most jets were not working and over chlorinated. If you need to park in underground garage, be aware of the steep access and hope that it hasn't rained or you'll not get out. We would not recommend this hotel to visitors, families or couples..

Poggio Hotel Arenzano ItalyPosted Oct 8, 2011 on Hotels.com
Very clean, good service but no smoke free rooms. Poor air conditioning. I stayed one night Oct. 2011, can't imagine how hot the rooms would be in the summer. Not a great location if you don't have a car.
