Wonderful hotel, and great location!

“Good quality hotel, very clean and smart and excellent service”

I stayed 1 day and my daughter stayed 1 week, prior to my daughter starting at the University. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and helped provide information and support for our very first trip to Genoa. Croissants for breakfast were scruptious (either apricot in the centre or chocholate). Convenient location for shopping and general access to town. Reccommended.

“Great Option Near Brignole Train Station”

This hotel is not located in the heart of the tourist area of Genova, but is extremely close to the Brignole Train Station, which was important to us since we arrived late in the night after 14 hours of traveling. The hotel rooms are small, but clean, and the stand up shower was very small, but turned out to be the only fully enclosed stand up shower we had in our trip. Overall a great modern hotel option if you need to be close to the train, we were able to walk down to the harbor area which was a nice afternoon walk the next day before we headed out of town. Genova was just a stopover on our trip, but this hotel exceeded our expectations.

“beautiful hotel in Genoa”

This hotel was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast provided was delicious. The eggs and bacon was cooked different then americans are use to but their were at least ten different pasteries. The hotel was within walking distance of market areas and sights. The hotel staff gave us a map and showed us were to go. Would use this hotel any time and recommend to anyone.

“Great Hotel - Love to go back”

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Definately would book this one again. The service was just excellent especially directions and tourist information from the front desk. In some places the carpet was a bit "tired" looking - that would be my only suggestion for improvement. Our room however was awesome - infact even 6 types of pillows on offer.

Great hotel, modern and clean. Professional staff. Unfortunately, not really close to the main attractions of the city (20-30 min walking)

“When in Genoa...”

We would recommend the Starhotels President. Comfortable accommodations, breakfast included, staff were very helpful and beautiful city views.

“Rest Assured”

Room was clean and organized, with the small fridge (not so usual in Europe). Linens of very good quality and clean. Small bathroom, clean and functional. Breakfast in the morning is really outstanding, with a very good selection of food and superb service. Reception clerks educated and treated us with courtesy and efficiency. Parking was expensive: E$20.00 a day. We enjoyed the 03 days and will be back.

“Oasis between the mountains and the gulf”

If you want a hotel that links the Gulf of Manfradonia and towns like San Giovanni di Rotondo this is the hotel. It is in the the middle of the penisula, somewhat hard to find go to Manfredonia with your gps and then type in San Giovanni di Rotondo and it smack in the middle. The hotel hosts lots of weddings and the grounds are beautiful, the pool is huge and very well maintained. Breakfast was substantial. All in a good place to stay.

“Excellent hotel choice, but poor service”

This hotel is conveniently located, just a block away from the Brignole train station for easy connections to long distance trains, and an easy walk to the old city. Rooms are fairly large and well soundproofed, and while the furnishings were a bit tired the room was definitely functional and comfortable. Breakfast selections were generous, including yummy fresh pastries and fresh fruit. If you are expecting a full American breakfast with all the trimmings, you'll be disappointed, but for a European hotel the breakfast was definitely well above average and we were always well fed. We drove to the hotel and access to and from the motorway was straightforward, but the parking arrangement was very confusing because the hotel garage is part of a larger parking facility. In our case, the hotel failed to properly open the gate to their parking garage, causing us to enter the public garage. While the hotel was helpful in getting us resituated, they consistently blamed us for their mistake and the staff were downright nasty when we asked to be refunded the small additional cost of entering the public garage. The front desk staff at this hotel, sadly, do not understand basic concepts of customer service and this was our main disappointment with what is otherwise a fine hotel.
