Noisy 1st floor hotel

The hotel was very nice overall but our room was on the first floor number 113 and you heard the elevator going up and down all night long, and water running thru the walls. For the price we paid I would not recommend a room close to the elevators.

Georgetown weekend

Convenient location for Georgetown SC and the surrounding area. Lobby areas are spacious and clean. Staff is competent but not very attentive. Breakfast offerings are less than I've had in other Hampton Inns.

Nice Hotel Close to the Coast

Pros: Location.
Cons: Train desk folks how to upgrade if asked!
Location: Palace Theater at Broadway at the Beach was fun.
I booked the room through Expedia so that I could take advantage of car rental and room rates. This was my weekend with my kid and we were celebrating Christmas together and I wanted to make it special, so in the comments section, I asked for a room on the marina side of the hotel. When we checked in, I was informed that wasn't a possibility because I had made my reservations through the website. So, I asked what the difference would be to upgrade. The desk clerk told me that I couldn't make the upgrade because I'd booked it online - never had someone turn down extra money before! Was a little shocking that we couldn't change. Otherwise, good stay, great facility, and upgrades to the lobby and breakfast area were nice.

Hotel good, Staff ?

The hotel was clean and we were there for a funeral, Manager was rude before we even stepped foot on the property. However the other staff was very helpful and compensating for our initial issue. I would stay again if I was in the area, but I would certainly make sure that train manager staff in customer service.
