“Retreat on Georgetown Marina”
Loved our stay at the Hampton on Georgetown Marina. Amazing view at sunset. The staff was very welcoming, the rates were extremely fair and included a real breakfast, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We didn't want to leave.

“Relaxing in Georgetown, SC”
Really nice folks at the desk. They had maps and brochure handy on attractions and good places to eat. They really made the hotel a great place to stay.

“Great hotel, at a great price!”
A great hotel for the price. Very clean and a great location. The staff was also very helpful and pleasant.
“Pretty good”
Typical Hampton Inn hotel; clean, comfortable, nice bedding. The only thing this time was the room stayed in a very humid condition. Couldn't figure that out during the stay. But I don't count that against the hotel, more than likely it was the air condition not work at 100%.
“Comfortable hotel”
Clean, comfortable, more than expected for the price.
“Geoegetown Hampton”
LObby was being renovated so there was construction going on. Only one elevator was operational which was ok since it wasn't crowded but you had to walk through tile installation and drag suitcases through the area where it was only partially tiled. Shower could not be regulated. At the midpoint on the dial the water was scalding. the hotel could not print a receipt for me because I booked through Expedia. If I had never stayed at this hotel in the past and had good experiences, I would not be able to give them a good recommendation.
“A room with no view”
This Hampton Inn was fine except that the room we were given had literally no view. The curtains opened to show a blank wall, the inside of the car port facade. The hotel was full -- a fishing tournament in town -- and we weren't planning to spend much time there. But still, I've never had a room with absolutely no natural light coming in. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was standard, but the staff kept it well-stocked and were friendly and courteous to all the guests. I can recommend the hotel -- just ask to make sure your room has a window!
