Pleasant and helpful staff. Nice suburban hotel. Not much around it. Take the metro into Madrid for the evening if you have the opportunity. We were driving from Granada and Toledo and were looking for a hotel outside Madrid before an early morning flight. Traffic was awful and we just made the plane. Would recommend a hotel closer to the airport to be safe.

Far away from the Madrid. It is another town, you need to get there with the local train.

Lovely hotel. Four star quality. Metro is a bit of a walk but do-able. Car is better. Good wi-fi Highly recommended. Again hoof it to the metro or have a car. Great value

Definitely not a 4* hotel, only 2 english news channelsPosted Oct 5, 2011
If you want to be near the centre and have food at night then don't stay here. There are only two veggie options on the menu and there is no restaurant or room service available Friday - Sunday. It is a 20 minute walk to the train station and then 25 mins on the train to the centre of madrid. You are in what seems to be a not very well off area with a chinese restaurant nearby as the only vegetarian option. There is a macdonalds nearby but they don't have anything vegetarian to eat. Also the average for the chinese for two people is 33 euros which is quite expensive if you have to eat there everyday. The hotel night receptionist was very very rude. There are no tea or coffee making facilities and there is a very busy roadway which you can hear if you leave the windows open. Definitely not a 4* star hotel as stated, due to the fact that you can't make tea or coffee, there are only two english news channels and the food isn't great. Also the lack of restaurant and room service from friday - sunday is a pain. If you dont mind the walk, the train ride, being in a not so great neighbourhood and the inconsistent service then go for it. However, due to the area you wouldn't feel safe getting back too late on the train so it limits the amoount of time you can spend out.

Hisperia Getafe - MadridPosted Dec 6, 2010 on Hotels.com
We were travelling with our car from London to Southern Spain. The hotel is just South of Madrid so an obvious choice for an overnight stay. THe hotel has a garage for secure parking as we had computer equipment in the car. Nice clean hotel - breakfast was a bit expensive but it was optional so you didn't have to have it. Location great for us and a lovely Chinese restaurant over the road.
