“Great location for a visit to Gettysburg”
Located on the square, the Gettysburg Hotel is an historic hotel property that puts you right in the middle of just about everything the town has to offer. The David Mills House (just across the street) is where Lincoln and other guests spent the night the day before he delivered the Gettysburg Address. The building houses a small but truly inspiring number of exhibits about Lincoln's stay and his address. Not knowing it was there prior to our arrival, a visit to the house was a delightful addition to our stay at the hotel. The hotel is also near galleries, shops and restaurants located in the many historic buildings of downtown Gettysburg. Would certainly recommend to anyone who seeks a stay (and an affordable one) in the kind of property listed in the National Trust's Historic Hotels of America.

“Nice Hotel”
My husband and I stayed there for Valentines day and it was clean and updated. Loved the decor. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Free parking in parking garage out back was very convient.
“Very satisified customer”
Over all stay was nice, great location, food was good, bar right in the hotel. This hotel served our purpose for a family get together. Would I stay her again, yes if another family get together but if it was only my wife and me no because we like different hotels and locations when we travel.
“A winner”
Stayed at this hotel for the Gettysburg Marathon on 4/29. It was close & convenient to everything - a short walk to the start and many places nearby to eat & shop. The rooms are standard hotel rooms.
“Mystery till booking was a huge positve hit for us”
Great experience, center of downtown Gettysburg we were able to walk to ghost tours tour bus and food. Took a chance at Expedia no name till you book feature and choose 3 stars, it definately was three stars more like 4.
“SLEEPLESS IN THE SQUARE”
If I ever stayed here again I would insist on a room that DID NOT face the SQUARE. All night long we listened to major traffic to include dump trucks and tractor trailers, hitting potholes and the uneven surface of Lincoln Square.
“Great hotel on the circle!”
Very convenient to everything in Gettysburg. Room was clean and comfortable, although bathroom exhaust fan was noisy. Pretty nice for a Best Western.
“Very Cool”
Took my twin godsons to PA for 13th birthday and stayed here for our Gettysburg leg of trip. Great room and experience-heart of Gettysburg. Staff cordial-not overly friendly-but made sure needs were met.
“Beautiful room, but noisy”
We had a lovely, well decorated, clean comfortable room. The hotel staff was polite and helpful. The only problem we had was the noise outside the window. We had a room on the corner of the second floor, which, unfortunately was directly adjacent to the traffic circle around the town square. Since the town square is the junction of two heavily used truck routes, we had to deal with a significant amount of semi-trailer noise.
