Nice Hotel & Great Location

Posted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: Clean spacious room, the property is well maintained, great staff.
Cons: The fitness center needs to be updated. They have 1 recumbent bike, 1 elipticle, 1 BowFlex system. All of the equipment was in disrepair.
Location: Battlefield & Outlets
Checking in was fast and easy, the property was clean/organized/up to date, the staff were friendly and helpful,

Outlet Shopping Spree

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: Room was roomy and staffs were pleasant.
Cons: Breakfast eggs.
We stayed here for Black Friday shopping at outlet across from the hotel's parking lot. The outlet was open from 10:00PM on Thanksgiving Day thru 9:00PM on Black Friday - 24 hours. The hotel wasn't crowded. It was very pleasant stay, walking over to the outlet a several times from the hotel. Only thing the hotel could improve is a part of breakfast. Real scrambled eggs would serve much better than what they have. No one at the tables, not just our family, liked the "eggs". The room was very roomy and clean. Both late night and morning staffs were very pleasant. Very quiet and everything you need for a longer stay. Will be back.

Gettysburg Tour Thanksgiving Weekend

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was good
Cons: Not sure how to improve the pool situation
Location: Gettysburg Battlefield is an awesome experience and a must see for history buffs and Civil War buffs!
Good until all the kids showed up and took over the pool. Random people seemed to be hanging out to use the computer in the lobby and their kids ate all the free cookies.

Very clean hotel, close to small outlet shopping

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: clean, non-smoking, spacious room with fridge, microwave and 2 TVs. comfortable bed
Cons: breakfast and receptiveness for guests - at least turn on the heat (or air in summer)
Location: Gettysburg is very close. There is a small outlet shopping strip in the same plot of land and a TGI Fridays restaurant.
the room was very clean and pleasing; it was spacious and truly non-smoking. However, the room was freezing, the heat was completely turned off and no one had turned on the heat knowing a guest was coming (it was 28 degrees outside). The furnace is at the bedroom end of the room, so the BR was warm and the sitting area/desk was still very cold. Complimentary breakfast is usually a tremendous benefit and helpful but the prepared food was poor - I still don't believe that was an egg. The condiments (cheese, onions, etc. looked as if they had been 'recycled' day after day after day. Same with breads and muffins which were a bit stale. If you only need a place to sleep and have food plans elsewhere, this is worth the cleanliness and proximity to Gettysburg.

Comfortable stay

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Our recent two night stay was very comfortable even though the hotel is still undergoing renovations. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It was nice having the complimentary breakfast which was very satisfactory for us. It is a great location for sight seeing in and around Gettysburg and we were able to walk to the Gettysburg Outlets as well.

Great pet friendly stay!

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Very quiet stay. Clean, comfortable room.
Cons: I am guessing the hotel is renovating-there were no full length mirrors in the room. Would be helpful, since we were dressing for a special event.
Location: There are outlet stores across the parking lot- there is a 7-11 convenience store in front of hotel. Gettysburg National Park is 1/2 mile away.
Great place to stay if you are travelling with your dog. They charge a $20 pet fee, which I am fine with, since there will be some extra vacuuming they'll have to do! I have to say that this was one of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed at! No "over the top frills", but a clean, comfortable room, swimming pool and jacuzzi, complimentary breakfast and homemade chocolate chip cookies 24-7- and very close to Gettysburg National Park! We were travelling for a special occasion and found the hotel relaxing and restful. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Cozy
Cons: Room needs to be dusted and vacuum better

The hotel was close to Gettyburg town and museum, and it made it easy to run back forth from the town and hotel!

Best nights sleep ever!

Posted Oct 16, 2014
First I would like to start off by saying I have a sleep number bed so normally staying in a hotel is sort of a bummer. I have no idea why or what they use, but I slept better in this bed than I do at my own house. Big deal for me. Other than that, the breakfast was horrible, they had one selection of protein and the lady was letting everything run out an hour before breakfast was over. I don't eat white carbs and other than oatmeal that was the main theme in this breakfast. My husband and I actually got into an argument on our anniversary morning because of this. I didn't want to eat their crappy breakfast, and he got insulted. We were told the night before the breakfast was wonderful. Whatever! The room was semi clean and semi new. Not completely what I hoped for.
