RemodelPosted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness was the main thing I liked about this hotel.
Cons: Due to the hotel remodeling, the room smelled like paint...it was a very strong odor.
Location: I was in town for a wedding, and I also went to the outlets that were just a few hundred feet away!
Due to the hotel remodeling, there was not enough lights in the room and it smelled like paint. Other than that it was good.

Gettysburg weekendPosted Mar 31, 2014
Had a wonderful stay here. Under renovation which they don't tell you when we booked but that's ok. Great free breakfast, hot tub. We had a family of five and the king bedroom suit was fine. Close to all!! TGIF at night for a cocktail. No driving required.. Outlets for tax free shopping steps away!! Be back next June!!!

Convenient location for our needs.Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: Pet friendly and location
Location: It was close to both our son and daughter and easy to travel to each.
We have stayed at this hotel before because it is pet friendly, the rooms are spacious, and the location is convenient to our areas of interest. The only drawback to this visit was that the hotel was undergoing a lot of renovation. We were not aware of that when we booked. However, the work was being done discretely and because we were not in the room except to sleep, it did not cause a lot of problems for us or our dog.

Family and pet-friendly hotel close to Gettysburg.Posted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: We liked the room size, price of room, staff, and location.
Cons: The whole place needs to be spruced up. The coffee at the buffet needs to be much better.
Location: The location is great right off the highway and within minutes of main attractions in Gettysburg. It's also an easy drive to Westminster MD.
Close to Gettysburg and also within traveling distance to Westminster, MD, we have stayed here several times for family visits. The hotel is really starting to show its age so I was happy to see they are beginning renovations. The buffet breakfast is not as great as it was years ago, but it's clean and works well with kids. The coffee was not too good so after the first morning we went out to breakfast. The rooms were clean, and as usual, all the staff are very customer oriented, pleasant and easy to deal with. The faucet in our bathtub dripped during our entire stay so we informed the front desk, but since we were there over a weekend right after a snow storm they couldn't get it fixed quickly. No big deal. Everything worked well with plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The TV and WIFI in the room also worked great with a desk and two chairs in the room as well. It's a very short walk to the Outlet Mall and there's plenty of free parking. All in all, it's a reasonably priced, friendly and clean hotel currently implementing some needed changes. We will definitely stay there again for our next visit to the area.

Wearing out over the yearsPosted Feb 5, 2014
We have stayed here a number of times over the years, since it is close to the inlaws and Black Friday outlet mall shopping. The location is great, but the mattresses have become lumpy, towels are thin, carpets wearing out. In need of serious refurbishment. It is adequate, but that is all.

Really enjoyed this hotel stay. There is so much to learn and so many things to see in Gettysburg and this hotel is very close to many of the historic places here.

The Motel is beginning to show ware. The Lobby and breakfast is cramp and there should be a better way for people to get in and out.Facial tissues if a old man like me notices they are very rough then they could be used as sand paper. Your staff made up for any short comings cause they were very good.

, CleanPosted Jan 24, 2014
Pros: The bathroom was clean all the way to the baseboard and in the corners.
Because we went during the week, off-season the pool and exercise room was easy to use.

Nice Hotel-Convenient and cleanPosted Jan 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Fine hotel that met our needs for the evening. Coffee and cookies in the lobby were a nice touch. Room and bed were fine. TV looked like it was from 1980.
