“One of the nicest budget hotels that we've stayed in”
We've been staying in a lot of budget motels during a month-long tour of the USA, and this has so far been one of the nicest. The staff were polite, professional and friendly at check-in, the room was very clean, spacious and comfortable (fridge, microwave and coffee maker were included), and the hotel location was safe and afforded access to the centre of Gettysburg in a matter of minutes. All in all, very happy.

Hotel was great for the price and location to battel field. I was pleased with the complete experience and recommend it.
“A reasonable place to stay”
Overall, for the dollar spent, it's a reasonable place to stay on your trip south/north in that part of the country. The staff new little about other than the tourist destinations. (ex. They had no idea about churchs, car washes, etc.) I was looking for a clean room. This was it with no frills, amenities, etc. But it was clean for the night.
“Okay for the money!”
The staff were great. Very talkative & friendly. Room was comfortable. The only low-point was the couch in the sitting area of the room, had stains on it. We surely were not going to be sitting on that. Other then that, the "free" continental breakfast was less then impressive.

“Adequate for the price”
The motel, although small and poorly marked from the street, was clean and very comfrotable. The amenities were sparse, but okay. The manager was abrupt and borderline rude and could have used some training in inter-personal relations. All in all it was a good place to stay for a short trip to the city, but probably woud not have been a good place for an extended stay.
“Bare essentials”
It was what we expected for a quick, no frills one night stay. The only thing that was a problem was that there was no continental breakfast as advertised. They said it was because it was the wintertime. That doesn't make much sense but they were still friendly.
