“Worth a stay!”

This is a boutique hotel. It is converted from a 100+ year old school, built in the 1890's. I stayed in August 2012, and the hotel had been open just a few weeks. The rooms were extremely comfortable, with ceilings about 20' high, extremely comfortable bedding and spacious bathroom. There is a great little diner located steps from the hotel parking lot, great for breakfast. The hotel is walking distance to the center of Gettysburg, and is very convenient for the area. The hotel is part of the Choice Hotels group, you can acquire points during your stay. Very nice.

“Top service and beautiful hotel!”

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff went WAY out of its way to make the experience great. Having a Keurig coffepot in the room and lobby was a plus, but even a continental breakfast that would make this a B&B rather than simply an inn would be nice. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the downtown restaurants and shops and a family-run grocery story. Great choice!!

“Nice new boutique hotel in downtown Gettysburg”

Really nice, unique hotel recently opened in an old school. Everything was new and very comfy; the staff was great, and the location was perfect for walking downtown or exploring the battlefields. The rooms were spacious and well appointed, with high ceilings and all modern amenities (nice LCD TVs, easy free WiFi.) My only suggestion: more towel racks in the bathroom and more water glasses for the room. Otherwise, perfect!

“Gorgeous and historical hotel!”

We (husband and 2kids) thoroughly enjoyed this hotel! The staff was the nicest I've encountered! It is an old school that they have turned into a hotel and the ambiance is amazing! I am already planning a trip back with friends for a weekend just so we can stay there again!

“Fantastic property”

This was a great place to stay and enhanced the Gettysburg experience for use due to the buildings history, period architecture and furnishings. It was super quiet and the room was fantastic. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

“Spacious and attractive room”

We enjoyed this hotel. The room was spacious, attractive and clean. The staff was very helpful. The only negative was that it did not have an elevator and our room was on the second floor. This is a renovated school and it would have been smart to put in a small elevator as part of the renovation.
