The hotel, staff and proximity to the interstate were great. The picture of the lovely trees online is misleading and we totally misunderstood a description of the area that highlighted among other things, a miniature and standard golf course, we thought these were adjacent. The hotel is in an industrial area. Nonetheless, we were well cared for by all staff, especially the breakfast crew and housekeepers.

The only thing it make me think was the staff doesn’t know what dies the hotel do. I recived a message saying to check in by the hotel app and that I will received my electronic keys and at the counter they said no, because it wasn’t wit them and I still received my electronic key on my phone. So, staff needs to be more accurate on the innovation of the hotel.

Thank you for your review. Your feedback is very important to us. I apologize if there was some confusion regarding digital key check-in. I see that you booked through 3rd party and Hilton Honors members are not able to gain points when booking through any 3rd party sites. Prior to COVID we were not allowed to add guests Hilton Honors numbers to 3rd party reservations, but Hilton changed this standard and began allowing the front desk agents to add guests Hilton Honors numbers to 3rd party reservations so they could utilize contactless check-in. Once we add your Hilton Honors number on our end you can access Digital Key.In the future to avoid any confusion I would recommend booking either on your Hilton Honors app, calling 1-800-HAMPTON, going to www.hilton.com, or calling Hilton Honors to avoid booking 3rd party reservations and being able to access digital key more efficiently. We appreciate that you chose to stay with us and hope you will continue to choose Hampton by Hilton.

The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was OK, scratches on the door and bathtub. Breakfast was very good, but average offerngs. Check-in staff was not cordial, I think she is overworked, so I would blame the management. She seems to be at the desk in the evening, at 3 am and at 6 pm etc... Yet this is a Hilton and I expect a warm welcome which I did not get. Other staff members were more polite. Hotel had few customers and was quiet. Noise from the freeway not too loud, and was OK but I had earplugs. Choice of restaurants nearby on a Sunday nite was very reduced to fast food. I dont expect to be back mostly due to check-in not welcoming.

Our room was renovated. The pictures online, are of the previous design, so this was a pleasant surprise. We had lots of space to put down our stuff. Well thought out design!

2nd visit this month, enjoyed both times as did my family. Staff is friendly and professional. Hotel and rooms were very clean. Child and pet friendly. The breakfast was OK: waffles, muffins, cereal, yogurt as well as eggs, sausage or bacon, and home-fries. Coffee and tea are free all day. Location is close to the highway, but rooms are quiet. I’d stay again and would highly recommend it.

Hampton Inn Chambersburg
Right off the RT 81 exit. Centrally located near several name brand eateries. Staff was friendly. The facility was modern and well maintained. A nice surprise.

I’ve used Hampton Inn for years love staying there, but they need to change the toilets to accommodate elderly people. It’s almost like sitting on the floor.

One of the cleanest properties ive been at in some time. Everything appeared very clean, fresh, and well maintained. Room smeeled incredibly fresh, no dirt, dust, or debris anywhere. Staff were very friendly and kind. Housekeeping staff were on point with checking on rooms and making sure you had what you need. Price was perfect for the room (King room). Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very spacious ro, extremely clean, all everything you need is in the room, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion , and body wash on the wall. Hotel smelled great from the lobby all the way through the hotel.

Overnight stay
We typically stay here as we pass through Chambersburg. It sits back away from the road and is quiet. Ample parking. Staff has been friendly each time we stayed. Check-in and checkout is quick and easy. The hotel overall is clean. The rooms have been clean and comfortable each time. Breakfast is included.

Surprisingly satisfying stay
I was pleasantly surprised how modern and clean the hotel was. Since it was close to the highway, I asked for a room away from it and they gave me a room on the other end of the hotel. My only complaint is that the door was ill-fitting and the light from the hallway lit the room like a torch.

The Hampton Inn in Chambersburgh was a great experience. They have a friendly staff and the room accomodations were first rate. Breakfast was the best I have had.

Great Stay
Check in and check out was easy. Staff was friendly and room was clean. They had a cute little pool and exercise room. Found some good restaurants nearby. Would recommend to anyone passing through and need a place to stay. Seemed popular as there were a lot of people staying there and enjoying themselves.
