nice hotel close to on/offPosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: newer, clean and comfy beds
Cons: no poop bags in the dispenser for a pet friendly hotel
Location: adjacent to residential neighborhood for pet walking
nice hotel but need to choose side away from highway, as the highway noise is constant

Beautiful, dog friendly hotelPosted Jul 6, 2014
Cons: Better breakfast choices.
We chose La Quinta because it was close to Gettysburg, reasonably priced, and accepted dogs. I was amazed and impressed at how comfortable and clean the hotel was. We heard nothing in our room, even when I opened the door and heard two dogs next door barking. The hotel used an attractive mix of wood, tile and carpet to create rooms that were lovely for all. I never would have guessed dogs has stayed in the hotel, as everything looked great. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will be more open to this chain in the future.

Dog MotelPosted Jul 6, 2014
We were unaware that this was a pet motel. There were at least 15 dogs in the hotel. They were barking, woke our children up and were coming into the breakfast area. We were able to keep our three youngsters from annoying the other guests. Unfortunately the pet pet owners were not as courteous!!!!

Hotel on RT 81 Very Noisy!!Posted Jul 1, 2014
Cons: Reduce Road Noise and make sure rooms are clean before releasing to guests
Location: Easy access to RT 81
I can tell you this will be my last stay at one of your Hotels. My first room was so Noisy that I requested a new room or I would cancel my reservation. The room was right next to US 81 and the road noise was so loud I got no sleep. I was moved to another room and checked in at 1000 pm to find the beds had been laid on and not fully cleaned with soap and bathroom still out from being used. Over the night of my final stay night the power was lost and was still out in the morning. I am done with La Quinta.

Bit NoisyPosted Jun 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Facility was great, but right next to interstate and no sound-proofing. Sounded like a window was open, but wasn't. Let in much too much road noise.
