“gettysburg”

hotel was good. nothing fancy, but more than adequate. Missed not having an iron in the room, but that was it. Large bathrooms.

“Better than expected”

This was a business trip and there were not many places that had rooms available when I booked this trip. Because I have stayed at other Motel 6 locations in the past, I was reluctant to stay there but did not have much choice. I was pleasantly surprised. The Motel 6 - Presidents Inn was actually way better than I expected. The building was in nice condition including the parking lot, the rooms were clean, the furniture and bed linens were in good condition. Okay, I will admit the towel were a little scratchy, but otherwise I had a good experience. I would stay there again if in the area.

“Great value. Comfortable room.”

The motel was a good value. The room was large and clean, the bed comfortable. The breakfast left a lot to be desired; bad coffee, sugary cereal, and stale chocolate mini donuts. However, we found an excellent breakfast and great service at a traditional Airstream type diner downtown near the train station. The motel was still a very good value given prices in the area and we were looking for a place to sleep, not eat.

“Clean, but bare minimum hotel”

THis hotel is nicely located close to Gettysburg College. It is within walking distance of the square, and several great resturants. It is not in the most historic section of the town, but it serves its purpose for a visit when you are not intending to spend much time in the hotel. The rooms are clean, but you will get your bare basics. THey recently added mini-fridges which is helpful when travelling, but you get minimal towels, they will be small, and the rooms won't be anything to look at. But, it is CLEAN. and in my opinion, that trumps the decorations of a hotel.

“Good for the money”

It's a budget motel. You get what you pay for, in this case you get a little more. It was clean and everything worked. Nuff said.

“Ghost Hunting in Gettysburg”

Didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. Plan on going out for breakfast. They had coffee, tea, cereal, mini donuts, and toast. Perfect place to sleep at a reasonable price.

“Gettysburg Stop”

This hotel is very close to the Interstste,which is what I was looking for. If one wished to visit and tour Gettysburg historical sights, it is a bit far out. The heating system was in need of systemic repair and the management had apparently put this off. I expect that most of their business is in warm weather and the air conditioning is more important. The staf was very accomodating. We were offered three different rooms in three locations. We selected the one on the second floor, which was right next to the elevator. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Checkout was also very quick and easy.

“Close to the attractions”

Check in was friendly and fast. The room was clean. There was no ice machine on the second floor so we had to go all the way down to the main lobby to get ice. Complimentary breakfast was a few donuts, froot lops cereal, make your own toast and juice. Nothing else. The pool was open and it was clean.
