“A Great Stay”
This was my first stay at a Sleep Inn, & I have to say, if they're all like this, I'll be hooked! The hotel looked very modern, and was extremely clean and well kept inside. We stayed in a room with two queen-sized beds and it was more than large enough. The room contained a microwave and a fridge too - always useful. WiFi was available free in the room, and the connection was great at all times. The continental breakfast was decent enough too - plenty of choices (bagels, toast, waffles, eggs, fruits, muffins, etc). The coffee wasn't great, but I find that typical of most hotels, & almost expect it that way. But the gas station next door sells coffee to-go, so you can easily grab something there as you set out for the day!
I booked this hotel the day before the Columbus Day weekend for a last minute trip to Gettysburg - couldn't find anything closer to the town at a reasonable rate. Chambersburg was only about a half hour drive from Gettysburg though, so it was certainly within decent driving distance. There were also plenty of eateries close to the hotel in nearby malls, so finding food wasn't a problem either.
All in all, this was a really great hotel & I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the Gettysburg region.
