everything was really good, better than most places we're stayed. a real value for certain. we have a six year old and he was thrilled with the pool (which was open til ten and open early in the a.m., plus a fitness center). easy on and off from the highway. free breakfast buffet with some hot food options. friendly owners/staff. highly recommended.

“Great Hotel”

My husband and I frequent Gettysburg and we decided to stay in Chambersburg this year due to the outrageous prices of hotels right in Gettysburg. This worked very well for us seeing that Chambersburg is only 22 miles away. Our stay was very pleasant. We were greeted by a very nice young lady at the front dest and she allowed us to check in 1/2 hour early. The hallways did smell like cigaretts, but our room did not. It was very clean and the bathroom was larger than usual hotel bathrooms. The bed was comfy with lots of fluffy pillows. Breakfast was good, had more than usual; eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins and make your own waffles. Heads up though, this hotel is right off Interstate 81 and our room was facing the interstate......so it was noisy at times. My husband is a heavy sleeper so it did not bother him, me on the other hand, I didn't sleep very well due to the semi's barreling down the interstate. So if your a light sleeper you may want to request a room on the other side of the building. Overall we were extremely pleased with our stay and we will definitely be going back!

“A Great Stay”

This was my first stay at a Sleep Inn, & I have to say, if they're all like this, I'll be hooked! The hotel looked very modern, and was extremely clean and well kept inside. We stayed in a room with two queen-sized beds and it was more than large enough. The room contained a microwave and a fridge too - always useful. WiFi was available free in the room, and the connection was great at all times. The continental breakfast was decent enough too - plenty of choices (bagels, toast, waffles, eggs, fruits, muffins, etc). The coffee wasn't great, but I find that typical of most hotels, & almost expect it that way. But the gas station next door sells coffee to-go, so you can easily grab something there as you set out for the day! I booked this hotel the day before the Columbus Day weekend for a last minute trip to Gettysburg - couldn't find anything closer to the town at a reasonable rate. Chambersburg was only about a half hour drive from Gettysburg though, so it was certainly within decent driving distance. There were also plenty of eateries close to the hotel in nearby malls, so finding food wasn't a problem either. All in all, this was a really great hotel & I'd definitely stay there again if I was in the Gettysburg region.

The room and service was good. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. The pool water was too cold, but th hot tub was fabulous.

“Worth the money”

This was a pretty decent hotel. Clean and well kept. We picked this hotel for the proximity to Gettysburg. It was only a 30 minute drive. The breakfast was fair. Mostly carbs though. Not much for diet friendly.

Hotel was very simple & basic. Appreciated cleanliness in room. We had asked for upper floor on reservation; hotel accomodated after initially putting us on 1st floor. Staff friendly & helpful.

“Great Stay”

We were in the area for the funeral of a very good friend. i booked on line and i am a person who reads others rating of the hotels and this one had a great rating and now we know why. We got there early and there was no problem getting us a room so we could go to the viewing, the young lady at the desk was great. The bed was very comfortable, and our room was very quiet and clean. Had a nice breakfast in the morning. When we travel we look for Sleep Inn's because they are clean, comfortable and have breakfast in the Morning.
