Nice price. Would stay again. If I-81 wasn't there it would be ideal! But that also makes it convenient!

Pros: Nothing that stands out.
Cons: The breakfast area for certain. Rooms were okay but could use some air fresheners.
Location: For our purposes, the location was good. If you're looking for something near this hotel, stay elsewhere. Right next door were 2 closed gas stations
Room was okay but overall hotel was not so nice. Breakfast area was a joke and you couldn't even get in the area due to the limited space and line of people. After waiting over 1 hour trying to get to the food counters, we left and went to McDonalds instead. Poor layout and not so friendly staff working this area.

Wouldn't stay again

We booked a non smoking room and the room really smelled like smoke . Also I got out of the shower and grabbed a towel and it had horrible stains on it .

Will stay here again! Great deal!

Pros: Cleanliness! Fridge and microwave. Price.
Cons: The bathrooms and carpeting could be updated, but at least they were clean!
Location: We were just traveling through and did not do anything in Chambersburg. But it seemed close to Gettysburg and Harrisonburg.
The front desk clerk was so nice and helpful. The facilities were very clean. Our room was cleaner than the last two 4 star, expensive hotels I stayed at and had more amenities! Having a refrigerator and microwave was so nice. The breakfast while not fancy was convenient and good enough. The last 2 hotels I stayed at did not have any of these options. The surrounding area outside the hotel definitely smelled like farm, and not in a pleasant way, but the hotel did not have any odor at all. While the hotel might be older, like I said it was extremely clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are traveling through and need a hotel.

Inexpensive, handy- but needs maintenance.

Pros: Location is convenient. Hard boiled eggs at breakfast bar were quite good. Plenty of parking.
Cons: Better systems maintenance for cleanliness. Improve the attitude about booking through Expedia.
Location: There is a wide selection of places to eat at the next exit to the south. The desk clerk was very helpful in letting me know about that.
Inexpensive. Close to Gettysburg and Rt 81. The back of the hotel is right next to 81- so there's a bit of road noise. Would have been fine for an inexpensive stay, except the room smelled of must and mold. (I suspect the air conditioner needed cleaning or the rug had gotten wet.) If I had thought about it sooner, I would have requested a room that did not have a mold problem. I will the next time, wherever I stay.Since this part of housekeeping wasn't a priority for the management, I decided not to use the pool, fearing a similar lack of attention. Also, the front desk clerk would not record my staying there on my Choice Privileges card, even though this motel brand is on my card. The fellow at the desk was unset that I'd booked the room through Expedia. There are a lot of places to stay along the Chambersburg 81 corridor. I'll choose a different one next time.

Location: We went to Gettysburg from there, pretty drive.
Easy on, off interstate. Breakfast selections were good.

OK Stay

The hotel is clean and there were actually no problems. We chose to eat at the McDonald's for breakfast rather than the breakfast at the hotel. Really small area and not many tables and chairs. Good place to stay if you just need a bed and then you are moving on.

For an inexpensive place to stay near Gettysburg. This had good amenities and a great staff. The breakfast was MUCH better than expected.
