Decent place to stay for the price.
Decent place to stay for the price. Everything was in working order and free breakfast was provided. I believe they may be working on upgrades as there were several rolls of carpeting in the hallway. Wish I was able to access the gym. I tried my keycard during the hours posted and the door did not work. We were only there for one night so I didn’t bring it up. If we were there for longer, I would’ve talked to the front desk about it.

This hotel has a friendly staff and very clean rooms. The breakfast offers plenty of options, and its location is convenient. While generally quiet, some may find traffic noise bothersome. Overall, it's a pleasant place to stay, provided you're comfortable with a bit of outside noise.

I liked that it was close to downtown Gettysburg. The lock on the door was broken and the phone didn’t work for my wake up call. But it was a good visit.

We walked into our room and walked right back out and went to a different hotel. The whole place had a vibe of not being well maintained or very clean. The wall corners in the room were beat up and some sort of sticky drip (soda?) was on one wall. But the absolute worst thing was the awful chemical smell that was throughout the entire floor. We could barely breathe. I’m not sure what smell they were trying to cover up with all the chemicals, but it made the air barely breathable. We went straight back to the front desk and requested a full refund. On the way out, some man (presumably the property owner/operator?) followed us all the way to our car, raising his voice and insisting we tell him why we were leaving. Very unnerving to us two women travelers.

The same clumps of dirt that greeted you when entering the hotel and trailed into the elevator was there 2 days later when we checked out. No vending machines, only a small fridge behind the check in desk that contained a limited number of drinks for purchase. The provided breakfast is what you would expect for the price of your stay, fake eggs, plain bagels but they did have a waffle maker, which was a pleasant surprise and it worked. Very much lacking in customer service, seems as though the owner wants to spends as minimal as he/she can and it shows. Not a place that I would ever return to.

This facility is having problems! We stayed two nights. Room was not cleaned. Appear to be short staffed. Boxes were stacked in public areas. Breakfast mediocre. Perhaps these are only temporary problems. The price was not cheap but the room and service were cheap.

I booked this for my husband and son. Pictures are misleading!! My husband is retired Army and said this was the worst hotel he had ever been in! The hand towels had dirt on them. It was so bad they only stayed one night!! Still waiting on the refund for the second night!! I will not book this place again.

We had a king jacuzzi suite. Our room was really nice, very clean, many new updates. I believe they are in the middle of an update. Most areas look great! But a couple areas were in need of attention, like missing trim, wallpaper peeling. Stacked boxes in reception areas. Our bed was very comfortable, pillows were VERY NICE. My husband and I are picky about beds and pillows and we were very happy. Our Jacuzzi was clean too. The carpets do need a really good steaming to remove stains but were vacuumed and not “dirty”. A few areas were still being improved but these things do take time. We would definitely go again. The pool was closed but we did not mind. But would of been nice to know.

Only one lady was nice, everyone was rude and never breakfast until 9;30. Sheets didn’t even fit and no one ever restocked any of our stuff unless being asked.

When you first walk in you are hit with a strong mold smell. Looking at the ceiling you can see water stains and mold that has obviously been just painted over. Carpet was very old and had big stains on it. Then to top it off after I got out of the shower I'm standing next to the sink and a flea jumps on my leg and bites me. I walked it to the front desk and the attendant didn't seem surprised. Which is a shock to me since this hotel is not pet friendly. Would never stay here again.

Disappointing hotel again
We found stained sheets in the first room. The next room was ok. My reservation stated that there were daily newspapers, not true. The biggest problem was we booked because the hotel had a pool. The pool was closed

The staff was excellent, the lady who ran the place was extremely nice. The rooms were clean. The key system was broken our entire stay, the pool was not open for repair, the hair dryer in my room did not work, the air conditioning in the common areas did not work well or wasn't on at all, breakfast was awful.

A very quiet motel, great shower, comfortable beds reasonable price. The continental breakfast was a disappointment. The whole kitchen was lacking and dirty. The carpet in the room and motel were heavily stained. The motel smelled of curry we thought there was a restaurant. I wouldn't stay there again.

We have stayed here many times in the past. This weekend we find new management. Breakfast until 9:30-at 8:45 no food left. Boxes of supplies stored in corner of lobby. Checked in, was handed the key cards and clerk walked back into the office.. No info on wifi, breakfast, etc. We had to look for the night clerk. She was always in the computer room and no one at the desk. Grounds were shabby, few plantings and dumpster door was shattered and we had a view of the dumpster from our room. Nasty place now. Very sad. Will never stay here again.
