A Birthday gift for a matePosted Jun 29, 2015
Our party of two couples stayed at Mara River for one night, it was great. We did the entire range of park activities including Night Safari. The rooms were very nice after a big day. Restaurant has a wonderful outlook and the food and service was great. Recommended.

special & nice experiencePosted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: close to nature and animals
The room isn't very big but clean and cozy. At night, we slept with soft insects chirping and frogs croaking. How relax and comfortable. The air was fresh without strange smell even we lived in a Safari zoo. We enjoyed the breakfast at Tsavo Lion restaurant because of the tasty food and interesting experience of sitting near by lions even the supplied food wan't various. The staffs are friendly and helpful, we totally felt their enthusiasm.

Posted Feb 16, 2015 on Hotels

Good fun..something differentPosted Jan 25, 2015
We stayed 2 days over there. Really different experience. They tried best to feel like safari. Rides in park is joke so don't waste time. Mosquitos are big problem need to provide sprey and repellant. Overal good fun

Enjoyed my stayPosted Jan 22, 2015
We, 1 adult 2 teenagers stayed 3 days 2 nights in Tandala, very impressed with atmosphere of lodge, however bathroom smelt & lots if mosquitoes as door didn't seal properly. Wifi was for 1 person only. Staff & all restaurants food excellent, fire dancers awesome. had a package which included night safari which was extremely disappointing, went for 15min tops, told it would take 30mins. Went to tigers which jumped on cage for maybe 1 min & we went, more time should be spent at this location. Enjoyed being able to touch & photos with orangutan, lion, birds, lizards and snakes. Overall I enjoyed my stay but wouldn't go back.

Posted Jan 2, 2015

To go with your family/kidsPosted Dec 16, 2014 on Hotels
It was a pleasant stay with my grandkids. Lots of animals and activities for the kids. Waking up with the animal view in your window is something, and having breakfast with the lion is amazing! Looking for foods other than the hotel food was a bit hard, it’s pricey as expected for staying in the middle of the jungle. The price you paid for the room, did not include any facilities. You need to pay extra for safari ride, night safari, etc. As hotel guest, you did not get priority for watching the show.. you needed to squeezed with the crowd, which was not convenient for us with 2 babies under 2yrs old.
