“Needs renovation”
Although very well situated this hotel is badly in need of a facelift. The rooms were dark and shabby and not good value for what we paid. The bathrooms were particularly poor and not cleaned properly. The breadfast was adequate and the service slow. They must only be full because of their central location and the dirth of hotels in Gibraltar
“Right in the heart of Gibraltar”
I have stayed here a couple of times and would recommend this hotel to others for its very convenient location and pleasant staff at the front desk and in the bar. There's a lovely terrace outside for sitting in the evening and the view of Gibraltar from the dining room is amazing. The bedrooms are a good size and (at least some) have small balconies. A couple of minor downsides from my last experience are that the breakfast serving staff could definitely have been a bit more friendly and the air conditioning in our bedroom was very noisy and not very effective.
“Great location.”
A bit worn but clean and excellent location. Just a short walk to the cable car, the shopping street and the botanical gardens. Very good pub with British food, Beautiful roof top dining room with view of the harbor where the breakfast buffet is served. Staff very helpful. Parking in front of hotel. Only problem was finding the hotel and the roads are incredibly narrow.

This hotel was great, the staff was the best out there, would stay again no questions asked. A++++++
“Best Hotel on Gib!”
The Elliott hotel is in an ideal location 1/2 a block off Main Street. The hotel room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The views from the 8th floor restaurant are spectacular! The food was good and well presented and the service excellent. The waiters made me feel like I was dining with friends. Off the lobby they have a lovely bar and patio area that is very inviting particularly the days I was there as it was warm and sunny, I have stayed at other hotels on Gibraltar, but this was far and away the best.
“a little tough to find, but definitely worth the effort”
A superb location in the heart of Gibraltar, the staff is more than friendly and helpful. An excellent choice for anyone staying overnight in Gibraltar.
