hotel room was small but good for its price. The AC unit in our room was broken and made the stay uncomfortable. However, there is a family mart connected to the lobby, very convienient.

A nice, affodable, clean anear nd convenient (albiet small) stay right in the center of Gifu City. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is conveniently located 2 minutes' walk from the Meitetsu Gifu line and Gifu Bus Center; and a 5 minutes' walk from JR Gifu Station. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well upkept with breakfast options and laundry facilities - one can monitor how crowded the restaurant is during breakfast times and the laundry status from the comfort of your room! The staff was friendly and helpful even tho they could not really converse in English. Definitely a recommended hotel in Gifu as the other hotels around didn't look as good from their facade.

The hotel is conveniently located 3 minutes walk away from the Meitetsu Gifu line and bus center; and 6 minutes walk from the JR Gifu station. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well upkept with breakfast options and laundry facilities - what i like was the ability to view the congestion status of restaurant during breakfast hours and your laundry status from the comfort of your room! The staff was friendly and helpful with information even tho they could not really converse in English. I definitely recommend this hotel in Gifu

Good and comfortable stay.
Hotel is less than 5 mins walk from meitetsu gifu station and about 10 mins to JR gifu station. Convenient location. Staff is friendly. Check in process efficient.

this is the most spacious room i ever seen in the Japan's Hotel. and the second suprise!!… I saw the massage chair there! This is incredible! Overall, the room is neat and clean. Location is good, it is closed to the train station and the bus station. Shops, restaurants and food street nearby.

Basic Japanese business hotel. Clean, efficient, good value. Front desk check in person was upbeat and spoke good English. Check in is quick. Meets needs well for a night or two.

Great hotel close to station
The hotel is right next to the Gifu station. It is easy to find, and is near many restaurants and shops. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The WiFi in the rooms was good, and the rooms were clean. The rooms also had extra blankets and pillows.

Great room, service, location and price
We were incredibly happy with our stay at Daiwai Roynet in Gifu. The location was perfect, so close to the train station that it was no fuss to get there with our suitcases. The room was clean and spacious, and service was lovely. We have booked with Daiwa Roynet at other locations (Okayama and Himeji) for our trip because we were so impressed with our stay.

When I enter the room, there was still smoking smell left (I choose non-smoke room). But after I turn on air purifier, it's much better. Anyway except that one everything was perfect.

Excellent restaurant, excellent location
Right next to Meitetsu and JR train stations, 5 minutes walk.Very convenient. The restaurant, which I suspect is family run is really good, delicious, and great value for money. The only problem is the bathroom had a damp smell which has been noted by other guests. I suspect that the hotel needs a better ventilation system. Otherwise this is a very good hotel to stay in.

Good Business Hotel
This is a good business hotel near the station. The queen-size bed outsized the small room, making it difficult for us to navigate around our luggage. Still, staff was helpful and welcoming; room was clean; location was convenient; and price was reasonable.

Easily accessed from the Meitetsu station.Further if you arrive via JR station. Many shops around . Breakfast chargeable at 900 Y but the spread is not worth it. Better to spend that money at some breakfast joint at the station.

Week in Gifu
The Daiwa Roynet is ostensibly a business hotel located in the centre of Gifu. The location is great being right in the city centre, just over the road from Shin-Gifu (Meitetsu) station and a 5 minute walk from JR Gifu station. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very clean with all the amenities you would require. There is also a Familymart convenience store next door which comes in handy. My only small (and it is very small) criticism would be that the pillows in the room are a bit on the hard side (not unusual in Japan) and it would be nice to have a choice of hard or soft as per other Daiwa Roynet hotels such as Utsunomiya. For the price though, excellent, and I will certainly return.

Nice hotel
great hotel, nice comfortable rooms. Washer/dryer and free internet makes it a great stay for travelers on the go. location is very convenient also to downtown Gifu area and to Gifu JR/Shinkansen Station.
