“New Hotel on The Block.”
This is definitely a newer hotel in Gillette, Wyoming. Nice lobby with very welcoming receptionist. I personally wouldn't choose the green color theme they have throughout the hotel, but the color scheme is still neutral and acceptable. Room was also decorated the same with new looking furnishings. Nice flat tv for my room. The wall was a bit thin and was able to hear my neighbors. Overall, a nice new hotel centrally located in Gillette. Would definitely return and stay there again.
“Gillette!”
Yet another example of consistent Marriott quality. Room was comfortable and very clean. Halls were bright and inviting. Staff was friendly and helpful. Derfinitely worth a repeat visit.
“"not impressed"”
We were not impressed with this Fairfield Inn. The quality, comfort and location were not up to par and we would definitely steer people away from the attached water park. The park was completely unsupervised with no lifeguard manning the two large slides (which explains the multiple injuries observed and incurred within an hour's time) and the facility itself was not clean. The machines in the hotel exercise room were dirty (sticky with dried sweat) and one was in need of repair. For these reasons, we would not recommend this hotel to other travelers.
“Surprising”
We have stayed at other hotels while visiting my daughter and her husband in Gillette. They were all worn and unkept. This hotel is quite nice with friendly staff.
“Quiet, clean and convenient”
I had absolutely no complaints about this hotel. I've stayed here twice and fully expect to stay, again. The rooms are clean and service is very good. I had a problem with the bathroom sink and they fixed it immediately. Staff is courteous and friendly. Breakfast is well done and kept stocked. The breakfast area is very clean and kept that way. If you are travelling with kids, they have an amazing INDOOR water park that is quite spectacular (3-stories!). I'm pretty picky and I don't hand out "5s" unless it is exceptional. Straight "4s" means it doesn't get much better for a hotel in this class.

“Perfect except the beds”
The hotel was beautiful and modern. The staff was very courteous and accomodating. The water park is fabulous. The only downside is that the beds were as hard as a rock. My 11 year old called them "prison" beds! If they could just upgrade those beds a bit, I'd never look anywhere else while staying in Gillette.
