“Best cooking in town”
In the same complex as the hotel is the Lariat Cafe. BEST HOME COOKIN' in town. And great prices. ^$% Google maps gave us the wrong driections, os we had to call to find it. 2 miles off!
“Hated It!!!!!!!!!”
What a Dump!! Smoking rooms directly across from non-smoking rooms. Halls reeked if cigarette smoke. Nonchalant staff when resolving discrepancies. Broken A/C in first room and very noisy one in final room. Originally placed in a room that had been down for repairs for nearly two months and problems had not been corrected -- UNACCEPTABLE!!
“In a strip mall”
A fine room for the price.
“bad bad bad”
the sign in the lobby asking you to remove your muddy boots began this awful experience- the lobby smelled of rancid grease and so did i and all my things by the time i checked out. i called the desk requesting a hair dryer and was told they didnt have any. the motel is across from railroad tracks and connects to a "gentlemans lounge". this meant that the parking lot was packed and i was forced to park behind the motel where there are no lights. the sheets and towels were clean which is the only good thing i can say about this awful hotel
“Old & worn out - appears dirty”
The rusty faucet and tub fixtures left us unsure as to the cleanliness. No AC and the temperature was set for 80 and we could not control it. The fan worked but became noisy when on for awhile. The windows were filthy on the outside leaving an unclean feeling. Linen was thin, lower quality. There was a nice flat screen TV with a variety of channels, refrigerator & microwave and good Internet connection. Good size room. No breakfast provided - a restaurant is connected with the hotel for a paid breakfast. No coffee in room either. We stayed in four hotels on our 5000 mile road trip. This is the only one we would not recommend.
“Good hotel for the price”
We arrived late, after 11 pm, but the front desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, smelled a little of smoke, but we were able to air it out pretty quickly. We asked for another pillow and she delievered us one promptly. My only complaint was that the wireless internet didn't work and no one could seem to figure out why. Will stay there again though!
“great room, nice size and loved double sink, one in and out of bathroom”
Loved the room, only downside is the lobby and hallway smelled smoky from the lounge, if they could find some way to close that off it would have been a 5 across the board. Would definitely go back but ask for room away from lobby area.
“Nice motel especially for the price”
The motel was nice, clean and had a restaurant. The restaurant was to close at 8 p.m., it was 7:30 and they still served us in our room.
“Not bad for the money”
It was about what I expected when paying that litte per night. The beds were comfortable, the showers worked well, pets allowed and it was roomy. Did smell like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking, this was the biggest flaw. Also, the glass windows of the hallway make for sound amplification so you could hear conversations out in the hall. I would go back because it was cheap and clean.
