"good place, good position"
An older looking hotel with a small simple reception, original tiles and features and has good bedrooms. It is very close to the Ginza and Higashi Ginza subway stations. Asakusa for Senso-ji is only a few stops on the Higashi Ginza line. The staff were very helpful and there always seemed to be an English speaker available. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for suitcases. There was even a small wardrobe. We asked for extra pillows and they arrived very quickly. There were loads of places very close for coffee and breakfast first thing. On our last evening we found a restaurant opposite the hotel called Tofuro advertising 'Edo' food. The menu looked good, but when we took the lift down to B2, the place was just amazing! It was like walking out into an old Edo street, with reconstructed buildings housing the tables on different levels (a bit like the Shambles in York museum). We were really pleased with our food, and loved the fact that the Japanese kids there were just as amazed as us! The hotel is a 10 min taxi ride to the T-Cat for the Limousine bus to Narita.

"Great Hotel"
Beautiful building, nice and very clean comfortable rooms. Most of all, the location is excellent - close to several Metro stops, not too distant from Tokyo Station and within walking distance of Ginza attractions and shopping. Enjoyed me stay here.

"Nice hotel in the heart of the shopping district"
I stayed at the Hotel Gracery for 4 nights for a work trip. The room was very cozy and clean. The staff was pleasant (though they really don't speak English very well - they do make an effort!). The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Ginza shopping district and is only a few blocks from the metro. The only draw back (which did not affect me) is that there is a massive construction project across the street. Luckily, I was staying in a room on the other side of the building and did not hear it. I absolutely plan to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo and will recommend that my colleagues do so as well.

"Service Exemplified"
After making the initial reservation I realized I had to add a day to the beginning of the stay. I mistakenly reserved the first day at Hotel Monterey Group's other hotel, the Hotel Monterey Ginza. I did not realize this and was in the second day of the reservation when I realized I was in the wrong hotel! I went down to the front desk and inquired as to why I was not told of my error. The response was "We had the room available and did not want to inconvenience you." This is how customer service is done properly. They could have asked me to relocate to the other hotel that I had reserved but did not. I will not even consider staying anywhere else on my next visit to Tokyo.

"Good location."
This hotel is well located. Is near by Ginza lines and major shopping department stores. Staff were helpful. The room and the bath room size are good for Japan standard. McDonald is 2 building away. Lawson and Family mart are near by too. I will definitely stay in Mercure Hotel Ginza for my next trip to Tokyo.

"Nice, clean, reasonably priced"
My wife and I booked a "double room" for 2 adults. The room was small, ~1/2 the size of normal rooms in the U.S., but had everything you'd expect. The size was not an issue and the bed seemed more like a queen than a double. We're used to a California King and had no problem with the bed (I'm 6'5"). I believe the hotel is on the edge of the area known as Ginza (upscale retail area). We were on a budget and had trouble deciding on a restaurant the first night we stayed. After getting more familiar with the area, we realized if we had walked the other way we would have found plenty of places to eat that were in our desired price range. Seemed like a good base camp for many popular sightseeing areas in Tokyo. The location also worked out great for us because it is very easy to get to. This was our first time traveling any place like this and it was the first place we stayed when we arrived in Japan. Took the Narita Express to Tokyo Station, and the Yamanote Line to Shimbashi Station. From there, it's only about a block to Hotel Com's.

"Small but cozy"
Small room but plenty for one person. Never ran out of hot water. Was hard for the air conditioner to cool my room at night for me to sleep well so I had to open the window which made it a little noisy with all the street noises. The beds were also very hard but the pillow was really nice.

    Ginza, Tokyo Hotel Guide

High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
