"Hotel in Tokyo with great location"
The hotel is situated in a very convenient location near Ginza (5-7 min walk to the main street) and few underground stations which allows to travel to all the major places of interest without changing lines. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The hotel is quite new so all the facilities are in good conditions. The room was very small ( 10-12 sq.m including bathroom) there is no place for luggage and no wardrobe to store clothes. The restaurant offers basic japanese cuisine but there are lots of places nearby to dine. Wi-Fi was free and worked well. I would recommend this hotel to somebody travelling alone for not many days and who has limited budget.

"Top class hotel, attentive staff, close to metro."
Although the hotel was fully booked due to an international conference, the staff was attentive and pleasant. Food was served on time and with a smile. We tried almost all the restaurants while we were there and the food was very good. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff at guest relations went out of their way to help with any bookings for outings or help locating specific shops that we were looking for. The hotel is located less than 50 metres from a metro station which makes it very convenient for getting around the city. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. It is in the upper price bracket but it's history and service make it well worth the value for money.

"Superb hotel, well positioned"
The Dai Ichi hotel is a charming hotel and well positioned for sight seeing and shopping. We could walk to some great restaurants and Ginza. The hotel is also close to two stations, JR line and metro which is very convenient for those with JR Passes. The room was a good size but we had an extra bed so that limited our room. Large spacious bathroom with shower and a bath. Staff were very helpful and directed our taxi drivers to some obscure addresses we were trying to get to. Very well organized

"An excellent hotel with underground locations."
We selected the Park Hotel because we stayed there before and wanted the convenience of the vast underground network and since it was still cold in Tokyo. We've had friendlier hotel staff in other Tokyo hotels, but that may be attributed to the location of the front desk. The concierge was very nice. Although everything was convenient and provided, the one major annoyance was the interpreter on the CNN channel. Can't hear the English! We found out on check out that they could have deleted it. Now they tell us! We passed on the breakfast at 2079 yen, a discounted price. Who can eat nearly $21.00 of food? At most hotels, $10 per head is the norm for guests. Don't need to post review!

"Great LOCATION. Good STAFF."
This hotel is conveniently located 2-3 blocks from Shimbashi station (JR/Ginza/Marunouchi Subway lines). It is a bit confusing to find at first. Look for the tall red/white tower and head in that direction. There are many buildings blocking the tower from view but once you see it, head that way. The staff spoke English and were able to direct us to an eye doctor and an ER hospital in the middle of the night! So thankful! There is a Lawson's across the street as well for 24 hour convenience. Restaurant Street is also a block away with endless dining options. A 10-15 minute walk to the Ginza was an advantage as well to get to know the neighborhood. This is a businessman hotel although we were traveling for pleasure with 2 children, ages 9 and 11. We fit comfortably in the two twin room. While the room is not big by US standards, it was more than ample in space and efficiency. The staff was able to accommodate our request of side by side rooms with our parents. (I emailed my request directly to the hotel.) Overall 5 star rating. $8 cab to Tsukiji, $12 cab to Ropponghi and $10 to Ginza if you need to. Location, location, location.

    Ginza, Tokyo Hotel Guide

High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
